yay...just completed my batch about an hour or so ago! Looks like rebatched or remilled soap without having to grate the CP soap, but looks good. I used my own recipe & added oatmeal with Benzoin Resin & Vanilla . I'll unmold tomorrow & let it set for a couple of days....then wrap & sell this weekend at our Arts & Crafts Market. Thanks for video!
enjoyed watching your videos! I've in my 6th year of soapmaking business--love to see & learn from others (part of evolving). i've mastered CP & HP liquid soapmaking but havsn't tried HP solid soapmaking process...i am today after seeing your videos. I don't feel so selfish now for not giving out my own tried & true recipes. I feel the same as you do that you learn by trial & error plus sweat & tears--so, we keep our recipes close to our hearts! Keep up the good work!
Because of the additional oils, the soap is denser. That is the reason, I believe, that the bar you cut is heavier. Thanks for the information regarding the flash points of different fragrance oils. In my studies, up to this point, that has not been mentioned in the other videos I have watched. Your videos are clear and articulate, which makes learning so much easier. Do you anticipate doing future tutorial videos? I hope so.
Hello I"m new to your channel so you might have answered this already....if you were to add like goat milk or something to the soap mixture would you add that in powdered form and at the like you did with the oats?
These were great tutorial videos. I have only done HP soap once and I plan to do it again soon. This video help me remember what to do. The soaps came out fantastic.
