I have a rose hair. Her name...ehem...is Rosie. Lol. Orignal, huh? Lol. She's really sweet too. I hear that the majority of them are. I haven't had her kick hairs on me. And I just recently found out that I'm not taking care of her correctly. I've been going by what the damned pet store guy has been telling me. Grrrrr. Awesome Jeff Gordon stuff, too, btw. :-D Guess I need to post a vid of Rosie, and my Oklahoma tarantula, too.

my rose hairs name is Lily also. do you still have her cause i just bought her like 4 days ago from someone who bought her and sold her after only having her for 2 weeks, they were scared to hold her. but she is so sweet.

and kicking hairs mean they are getting agitated and will bite.

i got a rose haired about a week ago. hes crazy as hell just eats everything in sight. I named him Doomsayer after the hatebreed song because it describes him perfectly. but can i seriously feed him a frog or baby hampster.

Nice Rose Hair - I had a Mexican Red Knee that was so docile and calm. Great pets - Rose Hairs are good for people starting out with tarantulas. Easy to take care of and handle. They actually get used to being handled and like the warmth of your hand.

no they drink with theyre mouth, this either means they were dehydrated(if u havent given them water in awhile) or its getting ready to molt in which case it will become very sluggish

I just bought one of these. I've given her a couple of days to get adjusted to her new, spacious, pimped out crib. So, when do you think she'd be up for being handled? And what is the best way to get them into your hand? Thanks. btw, Lily is really pretty.

thnx, i let her adjust for four days and how i get her into my hand is i go from the side up against the glass cause mine cant climb! and she usually scoots over onto my hand, at first theyll be a little jumpy but after the third time of being handled they get the hang of it.

they usually just sit in your hand cuz of the warmth or if something blows on them (fan) theyll start to walk around or you cand just touch their legs, ive gotten her to climb up my chest, onto my face and on top of my head!! sometimes she even just crawls into my hand when i put it in her cage!! also put a vid up soon id like to see ur tarantula
