  • Fond memories of beating this after school with a friend, in a pub... We were about 11! The first time we got to the end, we had no idea what to do, so we waited in confusion until the time ran out and killed us :D

  • @batlin Heh, that's funny. I used to watch older kids play it first so I was pretty familiar with it all by the time I got to the end of the game by myself.

  • Double Dragon, E.T. and Defender were my first Atari 2600 games. Soooo thankful for Defender. Nice review, Home-e.

  • @CookieMangler Ooh, you had E.T.? I'm sorry :p

    Yes, Defender was great :)

    Thanks!

  • @markiduval - Indeed I did. Also had no idea that you could return games at that time. Fortunately I lived in a town with one store and that store had Galaga and Double dragon. I was blessed. :)

  • @CookieMangler Ahh just as well. I have a similar story. I bought Atlantis for my Atari 2600. It was a Missile Command clone, but just, less fun. I felt ripped off. That's when I decided to get a Sega Master System instead.

  • I want to play this now.

  • @ASKaPHYSICIST Heh. Yep, it's still fun to play today. The NES version especially I think.
