Man The C.O.G.I.C. church we went to in Darmstadt, Germany sung this song, my mom was the director, my dad sanged in the choir and I played the drums for this song. This brings back so many memories.

ahhh ol'skool jam. i remember as a lil boy the choir doing this song. and our director on the vamp, would bring in the different sections on "do not, pass me by doing the "gigalow". i know if any young folks are reading this some dont know what the "gigalow" is, lol and. i know today when directing and pointing your thumb back means go back to the beginning or back to the top of the song or with some it means to end the song, but nope, not in my day, not where i came from.

Everybody would rise to their feet and start clapping when this song was sung and it didn't have to be a big choir. This is a great song and introduced the world to the stylings of Brother Douglas Miller. I used to wonder why Douglas Miller never was afforded the recognition as others. But God knows!
