I'm sure that people with more than an inch of intelligence will realize that this game is far deeper than just "killing a cops and stealing cars" or "steal[ing] a plane and shoot[ing] missles at the army planes." Fleshed out characters with personal motives for what they do, a deep story rooted in reality etc. I don't remember seeing much of that in Skate.

And I doubt pressing a few buttons on a piece of plastic would exactly count as practicing for murder.
