Dyno's are notorious for not posting real numbers. Go run it at the drag strip then back you et, race weight and mph into a drag calculator and that will tell you how much horsepower you have in the real world. All a dyno is good for is tuning.
i've always thought it was lame whenever they do stuff like "4 cars- 5000 horsepower!" it's just there to get your attention to something you'd find marginally impressing before.

Dyno's are notorious for not posting real numbers. Go run it at the drag strip then back you et, race weight and mph into a drag calculator and that will tell you how much horsepower you have in the real world. All a dyno is good for is tuning.

well hell..i reckon if i wanted to put a turbo the size of my head on a engine and sink over 13K in it..i could....but then yalled be pissed off that V8's still rule. its not that hard to make that power when ya got 28-37psi being shoved into your engine. try doin even half the value of these dyno numbers without turbo's. you wont. we have N/A v-8's that make 1000HP and are street driven dailey on pump gas and still get good milage.
