  • Want to make this soon. Please Dara - help? I will be using cashews this time for the Thai Kelp Noodle recipe but I've read on RFR that some are using almond butter and I noticed you used oil. Please Dara, how much almond butter would I use and should I use it along with the cashews. Also how much oil would I use and what kind? Thanks for any help you can give me here. I really want to make this but I am not confident enough to "do it to taste".

    xoxo

  • ok....I don't do recipes often, but I made this today and it was soooo good!! I actually soaked the wild jungle peanuts for 20 hours and also the kelp noodles for 30 hours. This was the first time I got the noodles to be soft!! I think it's the lemon juice for sure! Thanks :)

  • @ravendream33

    yipeeee!!!!

  • Made this today. Amazing dressing! Thank you for sharing Dara.

  • I've heard recently that Kelp noodles aren't raw that they are a processed food. Any thoughts?

  • NO salt in the mix?

  • @dustyhaze

don't need it if you use nama shoyu. or coconut aminos both salty.

  • @daradubinet Thanks...Making this now! How much oil did you use? Think IM gonna try pumpkin seed oil...Your food is special!

  • This looks so amazing. I love learning from you. Using your "Chef" skills and teaching us the skills along with learning about Raw is wonderful. You are a natural teacher. Thank you again for taking the time to share with us.

  • @MsEfish

  • @CrystallineAscension

that is funny. he wants you to wait on the cleanse?

maybe i should do a juice fast. when do you think you will

    start?

  • Is this dish very high calorie because of all the peanuts and oil??

    i can try.

  • STILL AWESOME!!! :) BUT SOMEHOW MORE TEMPTING!!! Love, Peace

    God bless

  • I have made my own version of this dish before, and it is amazing. May I suggest adding fresh orange and cilantro to this dressing, with avocado garnish? Shoyu, garlic, ginger, honey, chile, orange, lime/lemon, cilantro, sesame/peanut dressings are OTHERWORLDLY. It's one of the best thing's I've ever tasted.

  • @internalizepeace lovely ingredients!!!! :)

i did add cilantro. love the orange idea.

  • WOW! You and Dan are going to famous someday. Oh, nice presentation and I enjoyed the video a lot. Aloha

  • I'm getting used to my Whole Foods in El Segundo. It's such a huge store, I've never been to the Venice one but it's probably just as big. Where would I find the kelp noodles? (generally which section) Thank you :))

  • @lpsnowchic21

    tofu section! :)

  • @daradubinet lol thank you. I was too excited to wait yesterday so I walked around Whole Foods in circles for 30 minutes till I discovered they were in the refrigerated section haha. I'm gonna go make this now! :) so excited

  • @lpsnowchic21 thats funny

i showed the rawbrahs in our video together.

watch it, you will laugh. :)

  • you have a GLOW about you its amazing,

  • That salad looks so very yummy. I've soaked kelp noodles before in lemon juice to get rid of the fishy smell, but I did not know that salt would tenderize them.. I'm just going to bust into the saurekraut that peaked two days ago ( your recipe) I am learning so much from your videos. This recipe I will try on some non Raw friends this weekend. Thanks for another fantastic video As always....You are very lovely and charming.

    Elizabeth

  • @engalnabinada

    hemp! :)

  • @daradubinet Just made it with hempseeds and pecans and some hemp seed oil. It was prob one of the best things raw recipes I made, everyone loved it . was that a yes? I know my question din't really make complete sense I meant hemp instead of jungle peanuts.:)
