Once you have downloaded Steam, log on with a registered account, If you don't have an account yet, then go register. Once you log on to Steam, view the store tab and look in the top left corner. There should be a search bar. Just type in Garry's Mod in the search bar and select the first result. Now you can go ahead and buy Garry's Mod for $10. As I said in my other post, make sure to buy a Source game first or just buy Gmod in a package that comes with a Source game.

good, but the npcs should stay down for around 15-20 seconds, not just 3 seconds, its pretty much a waste of time, because they'll be back up on their feet in 3 seconds anyway.

The Lua in GMod is the piece that changes most often during updates. Also, I made this pre-Orange box, which was a major overhaul (making it officially Gmod 2007 for a while I think.)

So yeah, game updates = broken scripts.

Both problems are expected because it gets what model an NPC is by it's script, not what model it actually is (hindsight...) The second problem is the same.

This SWep is awesome, especially when you want to roleplay as a special agent or something. Only problem is that it reverts Rebel NPC's to their Citizen outfits when you wake em up. Also if you make a NPC that isn't in the original GMod10 go to sleep; when you wake them up again they turn into an error sign.

I just used fraps, but the professional version. For anything other than quick demos like this I would recommend just using demo recording which always looks better.

yaa or you just changed the sound of it too the ross bow from hl2 and uped the damage by alot then used the blue gravity gun from the end or hl2 and start of hl2 episode one to make idiots think that you made a trank gun

Or, you know, I can program lua and actually made a SWEP that reads the model of what you shoot, creates a ragdoll with the stored values of what you shot, and then respawns it on restore. But yes, it is the sound of a crossbow gun. And seeing how this video was made to demonstrate said gun on its download page....

To summarize, just because you can't do it doesn't mean it can't be done.
