Ghost in the Shell has been about story and plot developement. The matrix isnt even close to the same league as GiTS.

@l30volk Actually the Matrix was a large rip off of Ghost in the Shell as the others have already said. Anyone with common sense can see that it was all a way to make money, as the Matrix took most its concepts and even scenes from GnS. However, this is no real surprise as many America movies that have become renowned are because their creators have stolen their ideas from not as popular foreign media. The most current example of this is Black Swan.
