i go to school in virginia too. you pray during moment of silence. they can get you in trouble for it if you do it to provoke them. if it really is part of your religion like islam, establish that with the teacher and go in a seperate room at different times of the day to pray. virginia has super conservative schools compared to most states. another example of conservatives in the school system is the gay SOL's that aren't even factually accurate (established by Bush).

Sometimes I think the Republicans like being the brunt of jokes. Remember "Joe the Plumber", the guy who wasn't really a plumber, but WAS a tax dodger? Of course, equally funny would have been to ask Ms Couric a few questions about Alaska- closest approach to Russia, to continental US, capital, state budget, population. But I don't know where you live but where I live anybody can pray in school. They can't infringe on one's right to openly express themselves in school. The only thing that is prohibited is teachers talking about it as it is their option to be there. Also I was always arguing with teachers on their viewpoints. You might want to look into them not letting you pray. As far as I am concerned that is something they can't infringe upon. Teachers themselves just aren't supposed to talk about it because the students are forced to be there and if they are forced to be there they shouldn't be forced to believe something that the teacher believes.
And as far as your teachers hating when you have a contradictory oppinion; that just sucks. You should try to change districts or talk with the principal.

i go to school in virginia too. you pray during moment of silence. they can get you in trouble for it if you do it to provoke them. if it really is part of your religion like islam, establish that with the teacher and go in a seperate room at different times of the day to pray. virginia has super conservative schools compared to most states. another example of conservatives in the school system is the gay SOL's that aren't even factually accurate (established by Bush).

Just because you meet with these people does not mean you have foreign policy experience, smart one! Biden has been in the Senate for quite some time. But what has he done during those long years? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Any political expert on the radio will agree with me on that. When he governs at the executive level and makes trade routes and acts with foreign countries that determine whether this country gets natural resources or not, we'll talk.
