  • James Stewart in the 1930s could have played Oscar if Hollywood had the

guts to film his bio then.....

  • nice, nice, vid done with a lot of love

    hvala, dolores & welcome

  • I love Oscar Wilde and particularly Bosie!! He is generally thought of as ruining Oscar Wilde, but very little is known about his poetry or of the true nature of the real devotion they had for each other! I am pleased that ONE Magazine and Borders are hosting an event in Glasgow on the 30th July Lord Douglas will be there (think that Bosie was his great grand-uncle)!!!! He has a new book out but I'm looking forward to hearing what he has to say on Bosie. Go to iamon e.c o. uk for more info!

  • Oscar Wilde was an outstanding poet, a truly wise man gifted by nature. I appreciate his work more than I can say.

  • Oh dear! I just simply love this genius! Can't quite say anything new because you all have said before. Great work!

  • Oscar Wilde wasnt meant for this world. He was too smart, beautiful and beyond anyones comprehension.I was amazed when I first encountered his work, as a child, and now i read his chidrens literature to my son. My son is named after him, and if asked he tells people "my middle name comes from a really good writer". Steven Fry is so much like him, in so many aspects, its almost like knowing Oscar.

  • de profundis, dorian gray, salome, ..how many more classics can an author leave behind before an untimely death at the age of 46?

  • beautiful video, i heart oscar wilde

  • Actually that was Winson Churchhill who said that to a woman on a train when he was drunk shortly after the end of WW2

  • As I remenber it , it was Bessie Braddock the M.P for Liverpool East, she supposedldy said to Winston in the House of Commons "you sir , are drunk" to which Churchill made that famous reply.

  • @wolfxbloed It was actually Winston Churchill and Bessie Braddock.

  • What a wonderful work!!congratulations!!

  • Very nice

  • Very nice. Thank you for sharing.

  • Hey dear! You did a fantastic job on this one! The transition from the drawing with the mask of death in the background to the photo of Bosie in Cairo - wonderful!

  • hi, thanks for liking it. For many years I'm interested in Oscar Wilde's life, art and his tragic fate. I think that Constance and his kids were also very interesting persons worth of putting them on video, his scandal ruined their lives completely.

  • No, they ruined his scandal.

  • No! Oscar cannot be a ruin for anyone! He's great, Genius and deeply human like us.

  • Wildeapolo, my point exactly.

  • I prefer Oscar Wilde part 2 ! But this has his family which is good .
