I don't think there's anything a cat won't stand up to if they feel the need. They make sounds I've never heard a cat make before and it's quite intimidating when they do it.
omg, i am picking up my shiba (who is also named Bear) tomorrow (well, technically today) and bringing him to meet my cat, Kitty. I really hope they get along. Bear is a puppy (about 9 weeks) but Kitty is 2 and i'm not sure how she'd do around him. we'll just have to find out. :)
