  • This was a good interview with Charlie....George looked perfectly relaxed and comfortable with the subject. On the other hand, he CAN be funny with skits like this: watch?v=IiJgvFEVHR4

He should do more interviews like this and skits like that ...............^

  • Ouch, they spoke too soon! I love the Coen Bros, but Burn After Reading was easily one of their worst!

  • to me he looks like a train station maister from Greece, he got really big ears.

  • @Ge311rgo Only to you.

  • George Clooney is THE MAN among men. I swear I wanna be just like him.

  • I don't care about the box office - "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" was a very good movie.

  • he must've spent months in front of mirror practicing mimics and speaking, he is close to perfect, but the content is more important and mimics and he misses the content of a great thinker, by a lot, lol

  • brad pitt + george clooney = no chance of failure <3

  • dude how come he doesn't wrinkle?

  • @theaardvark94 plastic surgery... maybe..

  • @feniks346 Envy is a deadly sin...

  • @mybluecat1 He is aging naturally ? ;p

  • @feniks346 Why do you think women fall for him?

  • I don't know. money? fame?

  • @feniks346 He's handsome. Millions of women noticed that.

  • But the actor of this caliber like Clooney, still has to care for a young face.

  • i like that he's moving into directing. i hope he goes work like Eastwood.

  • charlie rose pisses me off... he never lets anyone finish. he makes it a conversation not an interview

  • @TommyTomato93 Thats what make him a great interviewer. It's a skill to be able to make an interview seem like a casual conversation

  • @stevieb89 No idiot, because you don't have to interrupt people in a conversation.

  • When clooney is sad, he stops being sad and starts being awesome

  • damn u r so cute I wish I meet you one day

  • dude has so much charisma its insane

  • I was watching The Making of spiderman 2 an see how directing with CG has taken film to such a new level, i don't know if Indie type films can keep up and maybe films will become too expensive to make a recoup expenses...

  • I've watched the Coens work together directing a movie.

They hardly speak and when they do, it's as if they speak as one.

They've probably worked with the same cameraman, sound man etc. for so long that these guys know what they want.

  • its the same way de niro and scorsese work.

  • George comes on as so natural he amazes me. He appears so unaffected by fame. That is a real obstacle to face in his biz.

Makes me wish I could spend some time talking with him about his work at least.

  • He is much more likely to get that if you send that in on his website (if he has one) or his publicist's address, etc.

  • I think Charlie Rose is sexier than George Clooney :-P

  • r u on drugs?

  • hmm

    i find that interesting

  • hahaha , ur right on this 1 XD

  • anyone got his number...I got a story he can tell...

  • Looks, appeal, and smart...he is the closest thing to perfect I've seen..♥

  • @greedygretch I've heard when he works on a set all he does it tell jokes and makes the crew feel great.

  • george clooney is my husband...fdetah..i love hin so0o0o00o0o much ooooo

  • Sexies man on the planet!

  • agreed!

  • There are many handsome men in Hollywood, but those who also have a brain and are natural like George are TRULY attractive.

  • agreed, I also feel the same about Matthew McConaughey and Joshua Jackson. I think they both come across as very intellegent.

I only wish men thought that brains and a naturalness was attractive

  • Sigh, sigh, sigh....

  • Ahh nooo, you do not want to be George when you grow up. Even HE will tell you this.

  • PayHere...I totally agree!

  • no country for old men was crap! I think the Coens are overated. However i did like Fargo mainly for Frances Mcdormands performance

  • I don't recommend Burn After Reading...I came away hating people and society in general..it made me very distrustful. It's not a film that makes you feel good. And the most likable characters got it the worst in the end which sucked.

  • god your easily affected aren't you! Its a movie , one that is quite funny in my opinion

  • I'm really looking forward to 'Burn After Reading'

  • GREG WHEELER KICKS ASS!

  • I want to be George when I grow up!

  • Me too. His personality is very charming.

  • Many actors (like politicians) are charlatans-that's what they do for a living-they fake. lol It's the public that needs to stop worshipping these fakers and confront the real problem- the corporate controlled media.

  • clooney's jacket is amazing...

  • Someone needs a hobby...

  • we need some page with the height of all famous people

  • hes soo hot.

  • Why did you put There Will Be Blood, as a tag for this? everything else makes sense except that

  • I can t believe that you guys are discussing the private life of george clooney.. what a bunch of loosers.. get a life

  • hey !! not interested for what he's saying !! but omg i'm so ungry !! why the hell do girls like him ??

he's not beautifull at all !! but i don't understand you girlos .........why do you think he's the sexiest man alive ??

  • I'm not sure O_o

But girls have other types of guys to go for.

  • While I do not think that he is the sexiest actor out there (I leave that to the likes of Helen Mirren and Patrick Stewart), Clooney is a handsome man who can string sentences together. Plus he is honest about his failings. He is not husband material but he is a good friend (as witnessed by his relationship with Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts).

Clooney is the type to invite to dinner parties.

  • Hey fruticetum! I just wanted to tell you something you missed about Clooney- he WAS married once, and then divorced. Obviously, the girl broke his heart and he doesn't want any sooner commitment. Come on! Does everybody have to live the same life? How can we judge a person's love life? Really, that's to easy. And no need to be jealous...he has more time to take care of himself, you don't, I don't...we're all different.

  • Charlie Rose: King of the 'Leading Question'

Leading Question = a question put in such a way as to suggest the answer sought

...and that always leads in the direction of His agenda

  • Clooney's liberalism... Oh my, my. Photo op liberal, charity op liberal but when it comes to labor, just another scab. Clooney double tongues so well, he should take up the trumpet.

  • sounds like he should be running for president

  • You're right.

  • what clooney has acheived is harder than manual labor. any man can do manual labor but not everyone can be a millionaire actor.

  • You're damn right. I love his bleeding heart for Darfour whilst he take Nestlé's money, justifying himself by saying that he has the right to earn a bit of money!

  • There are communists, then there are cappacino communists. There are liberals and then there are fascist liberals. A facist liberal is someone who preaches freedom and civil rights but practices something else.

  • Can I quote you on that?

  • Yep.

  • Well said fruticetum! although not a big fan of the current girl

  • No Count.F.O.M. was a dud. over-sold, over-promoted. It sucked

  • You are demented. What the hell has his private business got to do with you?

Get a life you lunatic nut, and no, you could never be sexy. Mad people who obsess over the personal lives of strangers and hate them for not behaving in line with their fantasies are repulsive, creepy, weirdos who most people try to avoid for fear of being on the receiving end of a pschyo stalking campaign.

I hope you haven't reproduced, if so the poor kids. They haven't a hope.

    Please get help.

  • Wow, Emire. From looking at your favs list, it appears you are fucking lefwing nutcase. No wonder you have no problem with a guy never taking responsibility. Sorry, but real people commit, marry, and raise kids. It isn't just about ourselves like it is for you liberal pricks. Let's see how George does with committing to one person in marriage for 20 years instead of swinging his dick around with a different starlet every night. Then we'll see if he's a real man or not.

  • Are you really saying that being married for 20 years makes you a man? I feel sorry for you..

  • haha who cares!

  • *Yummy*

  • I love George Clooney.....just don't love some of his movie choices. It's time for another romantic comedy George.....and a cameo on the upcoming last season of "ER".

For my suggestions, check out my most recent uploaded video.....

    Kelly's Island - "By George,I Think I've Got It!"

Thanks, I hope you enjoy it.

    I love feedback! :)

  • funny thing is-- he can't direct. he made charlie kauffman script into mediocre, dull movie that was just barely redeemed by sam rockwell. and good night and good luck was most overrated nothing movie of the decade. people got taken by it being black and white and period correct. but it was a nothing movie. not subtle so much as blah. not intelligent so much as smart looking. so why is anyone surprised that leatherhead sucks?

  • it cant really act either but i still like him. he's so self aware it's annoying

  • George Clooney is awesome...I love him:):):)

  • At the end of the day, 99% of movies are low class entertainment. Even the supposedly good movies aren't beyond the grasp of the average HS student. And thats the bottom line everyone, our books, our movies, our music, its all suitable for HS students and basically most of us never grow beyond the intellectual curiosity of an 8th grader when it comes to these media types.

  • That's a fairly superficial and presumptuous statement to make; perhaps much of the high quality media is simply going over your head. What standard are you using to label "our books, movies, music, etc." as limited to the intellect of an 8th grader? What books, movies, and music do you recommend for us simpletons to develop our minds, oh enlightened one?

  • good show. :D

  • Let me explain something to you. Any so called "artist" like George Clooney, is a charlatan. No artist worth a shit ever became obscenely rich and famous. Its the economics of it all that make my argument irrefutable. Quite simply, the goal of all media in question is to recoup invested money. That means it must be palatable by large sections of society, which means it must be dumbed down so that HS students can fully appreciate it.

  • Actually ShawnTMills, you are a charlatan. Let me explain why. I have an honors degree in economics, and in one year, I will have a degree in law. What you said has virtually no economic merit at all...different products, and different goods cater to different demands. Take Charlie ROse for example...it's not a high ratings show that's going to secure massive advertising profits, and Charlie knows that...but he still conducts it, and it's an intellectual show with renowned guests,

  • discussing issues ranging from the arts to science to politics. It's aimed at an intellectual audience and obviously will never be a stellar money making show like...let's say American Idol. Not everything in the media is dumbed down for high school students, and to call Clooney a charlatan just because SOME of his work is not at a high intellectual level is unfair and presumptuous.

  • And writing with confidence doesn't make you correct...don't say things like "my argument is irrefutable," because we're not discussing an issue that has absolute solutions or proofs, so no argument either of us make can be irrefutable.

  • Ok buddy, obviously the educational system you went through sucks! And now you'll tell me you are going to Harvard on a full scholarship!!

Did you see what happened to Bear Stearns? The lesson is smart people aren't so smart sometimes, cause of the fact that they're people.

  • You're just proving my point that you're a kid who likes to pretend he's smart. You didn't address what I said or defend you're own comments; you went on with your arrogant and unjustifiably confident tone ("obviously the educational system you went through sucks" ???), and what does Bear Stearns have to do with the discussion we were having? Take some ADD pills.

  • Actually, your arguments were all over the place and I was done arguing with you at the point that I wrote my previous comment. You can't accept the fact that film is really not a medium for serious art and because you cannot accept that fact you are not worth having this discussion with. I find it all very funny because true geniuses have conversed with Charlie and none of them are from Hollywood. But boy do the Hollywood types sure act like they belong there...

  • Uh huh, different goods cater to different demands. If only you could understand how you have restated my argument. Of course there are different markets, but here's some news for you shit for brains, every movie costs the same 9 bucks, and every DVD costs the same 19.99 at wally world. So why don't you think about that blatant fact a little while before spouting off on your complete and utter lack of understanding anything besides how to pull out your dick and piss all over creation.

  • I'm sorry, I thought I was having an enlightened debate with someone that had a brain, instead I'm pointlessly trying to reason with a child who has an internet connection and read a couple of superficial anectodes that inspire him to write inane diatribes on the internet. Grow up.

  • Obviously you stand obliterated by the unassailable logic of market pricing. This applies to music as much as it applies to movies and both industries are dominated by shallow worthless crap that simply repeats itself over and over and over and over again. In those kinds of market conditions anything that is successful is virtually by definition, trite. There are a handful of minor exceptions, but not many. My point has always been that Charlie gets the stars on for their star power.

  • shutup.

  • you're so intelligent. wow.

  • when is he gonna admit that most actors are dumb and not important, but it helps if you have a great smile. His best work is his self awareness of a constant humility that he wraps himself in.

  • what i love in him that he always speaks by his mind. this man know he says.

  • I agree;)))

  • One of my favorite actors and directors.

  • hmm, some directors continue to push and excel in my opinion, and some just get lucky every once and a while

  • George Clooney is a fucking legend.

  • kubrick!

  • He's a cool dude, wish him the best.
