both are great players. i take that back, both are amazing players. however, i was a little disappointed with marcus: during the trading, Joe was feeding some great ideas that were itching to be manipulated, but marcus seemed a little selfish and decided to just play his own runs and licks. i wish there was a little more interaction, despite how great all these guys are.

i dont need no periods this is a real fun jam with the horn men playin their tails off i would like to hear Marcus in a real group setting where they are communicating and developing ideas together rather than just blowing with blinders on i hope you can kinda dig what i,m saying no dis to these guys they have put their time in the woodshed and it shows Marcus is blowing some fire even with my kinda jive sounding attitude on my first comment this video should get thumbs up!

couple hotshot trumpet players going at it printup is a fine player if i were in another mood i may have enjoyed this a lot more play what you feel and they did can't fault them for that but for me no letup no contrast with all the breath involved it's like no breath was taken this was chopp city sorry if i am being rude it just hit me as being a battle of trumpets and not much about listening to each other as a jam session i do have to say these horn cats are smokin
