Hmm, im confused, the trouble is that I Never have been in outer space to see it for myselfe so the only reason i assume that the earth is round is because its written in a book. Offcourse ive seen pictures but being a experienced photoshopper myself... It could be one big conspiracy. As far as i know the NASA is an american company that launches spy sattelites for the USA navy. The same USA that invaded iran because they were having weapons of mass destruction ...

imperical evidence doesn't need to be validated in a book called the koran. Everything about the koran and the bible are completely arbitrary to those who don't give legitimacy to religious myth. This man should be shot for his spread of ignorance.

The renowned classical Islamic scholar Ibn Taymiyyah stated that the CONSENSUS of the Tabi'oon (the Muslim generation after the Prophet Muhammad, who studied with the companions of the Prophet Muhammad) was that the EARTH WAS SPHERICAL.

There is also a hadith in which the Prophet said that earth is spherical, however the narration is weak.

And Allah (swt) described the earth in the Qur'an as "Duhaha", the root of which is a word which referred to the egg of an Ostrich.

@pocketspy You references to Isaiah and Job were incorrect. They don't say the earth is flat. they say that it's round. Which is obvious anyone with a sense of direction. Next to that, it's NOT God in the OT that's saying it, it's the PROPHETS themselves, we as Jews and Christians don't believe prophets are infallable. Only the Word of God itself is infallable. Nice try.

The Book of Job in the Old Testament has Job saying That God hung the Earth on nothing and in Isaiah that the Earth is round.

Job 26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

In Isaiah 40:22 He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth.

Since God knows more thatn Muhammed, I think you should listen to God.

Streches the North doesn't prove the earth is flat, and I would like to ask you, is there a VISIBLE thing that the World sits on that makes it sit in place? Are you trying to prove that you have no brain? Isaiah 40.22 Circle of the Earth... Interesting, but God isn't speaking in this verse, it's the Prophet Isaiah, we don't believe as Christians that Prophets are GODS like you do with Muhammad.
