אוי ואבוי, כמה פעמים הקול שלה נשבר. היא אפילו מזייפת. לא זכרתי את ההופעה הזאת ככה וניכר שהיא התרגשה מהמעמד. אין מה להשוות את הקול שלה אז להיום. היא בכלל לא באותו המנעד ולא מפיקה צלילים גבוהים.

This is one of those songs I remembered and carried with myself through the years when there was no internet, no mp3 players etc... I was 10 yrs old when Rita performed this and immediately fell in love, I cannot understand how the juries could ignore such a piece of art, the melody, the orchestration, the voice, everything is PERFECT! RESPECT, RITA!!

I am from Israel.

It is well known, specially in those years that the votes were mainly depend on the politic situation.

Even when you take Israel out of the equation, countries in the Balkan for example prefer to vote for Greece (as it was few years ago).

Anyway, Rita was a big start in Israel, but we have some singers which are even better.

there was alot of buzz around her here in Israel and everyone talked about her.

I really think that europe was just not ready for that kind of performance.

What an amazing performance. This was an excellent entry from Israel, unfortunately this is not the type of euovision ballads, it's very distinct and it paid the price with a bad result. Still, Rita showed how to sing with passion and emotion. Truly breathtaking.
