That course of action would not have completed that task and as the soviet union and China were allied with north vietnam. A very likley outcome would of been a Nuclear retaliation. @tnt181 The mission wasn't to exterminate the citizens of vietnam, it was to stop the spread of communism in asia. That course of action would not have completed that task and as the soviet union and China were allied with north vietnam. A very likley outcome would of been a Nuclear retaliation. Im not saying that would have triggered a chain reaction, but enough amricans would be killed in the explosions to not only debunk that theory morally but pratically it would have cost more lives.

Most americans thought the vn war was a waste&generally regarded it as a loss but it wasnt. Sure, the US achieved its goal (stop communist spread to the phillipines/australia) & had no need to linger there. Throughout most of the war, the Soviets &China were allied and were both supplying the VC's with weapons (Migs/tanks from soviet and guns/equipment from china). Then Nixon and Kissinger had a series "secret" of meetings w Mao Zedong where they briefed them on Soviet military forces..

after that China stopped supplying weapons to north vietnam and there were tensions btwn china and ussr. Having breaking up the communist pact, the US knows spread of communism will die with it there in vietnam. No more reason to stay and gtfo of vietnam.

My best friend was in Vietnam war and another was in Vietnam to he could not stop agent orenge and one other who African american has his m16 still and well his best friend is MIA he's most likely dead now he said his other abuesd drugs and is dead.....my dad was in dessert storm and screwed up his neck my great uncle was also in iwo jima and in my Russian roots lead to a comrade who fought in Stalin grad and also one of grandpas friends was in WWII. I think of joining.

it is a sick song. But its cool cuz kids probly get a better understanding of that particular war and some of its evils. I think it accomplishes a lot. Its a good story and one of the coolest rap songs I've heard. Check out Never Again by Remedy about the holocaust. Its on a similar level as this song.
