  • Cipriani is a good player just has an attitude problem and is slightly inconsistent people need to get off his back

  • i look forward to seeing him play for sale sharks this september.

  • @holdenross yeah fuck off mate- you clearly know fuck all about rugby

  • @16schlee Aren't you the guy who is on the popular YouTube video "Outdoor sex in the rain - caught"?

  • you see this then you think england have that muppet charlie hodgson playing 10 so far this 6 nations just depressing as a rugby fan

  • @JOHNNY59FIFTY Wales next week I can't wait! WE GON' WIN!

    WALES THT IS

  • how did england let a player of this ability just go through unplayed, yes he had a few problems but at least give him one more chance......

  • Even I was fooled by that classy dummy!

  • simply said danny cipriani is englands biggest ever missed opportunity, honestly think that if he had been give the right chance he could be number 2 fly half in the world right now

  • England messed mathew tait around so much, it was disgraceful. They played him centre or wing never let him settle down in a particular position where he could have begun to hone his skills there. Instead they switch him around all the time where he can never get any momentum in his performances then all of a sudden they decide to drop him altogether, he was never past the beginning stage of knowing where he was going to play?! Its a shame his career has been hampered by injuries though...

  • @Punnarniman Mathew tait wouldve been such a beast!!

  • Who are the commentators?

  • 0:09 AWESOME DUMMY

  • Fuck me he's quick! Who's this guy I'm from the UK just having a little fun on youtube!

  • wow the only good thing danny ever did or will do

  • i find it funny when marto says "didn't know he could run more than 15m" - Cipriani has pace like an outside back... a serious outside back!

  • you'll never see wilkinson or flood do that

  • love to see cipriani do that against wales in cardiff, ireland in dublin, italy in rome and france in paris

flood has done this and flood is immense and wilkinson is an all time great

  • So what what he's like as a person. It was a great try.

  • he's still a twat

  • @fordi92 he really isnt ive met him he is a really nice guy and he went to my school so why dont you shut the fuck up!

  • @Blakey1234567890 well when you put it like that, i must be wrong. i can only apologise for having expressed an opinion that has proven to be wrong thanks to you.

  • I remember this guy playing for England, but I don't remember how good he was. But from what I heard, he was a good attacker, but his defensive play was shocking. Is this true? And is it the only reason he was dropped from the England squad?

  • @fazer990 he was dropped from the England squad for being a cocky little runt. Out in nightclubs giving it large, acting up like a child. He was immature, Hopefully time in Oz will mature him and he'll come back to England and play.

People here feel he fucked up his chance.

  • @stroketheboat ah, i see. thanks for the reply!

  • Yeah, I don't perticularly mind who wins the next world cup, I hope England go far though. But I honestly think that England may seriously be favourites for 2015. Not only is it held here, but we have a very good, dynamic side at the moment that has only an average age of about 24. With experience, the team could become one of the best!

And I hope to see Danny Cipriani back in the fold, look at what he CAN do in the video. With the right players around him, he could do it for England.

  • @Bandyfoz average age of 24!!? lol england team is full off 30+!

  • @aud4mikey No, it is a very young team with the likes of Ashton, Youngs and Croft, all who have at least another world cup after 2011, and then guys like Tuilagi who will probably be there in 2019!

England has a young and dynamic team, be warned southern hamispheres, you got 2011 all right (NZL I would bet, but possibly AUS) but come 2015 and maybe 2019, England may be a handfull! France too, maybe.

  • How has Dan Cipriani been getting on in Australia, does anyone thinki he has improved or done well?

PS you Aussies have an excellenty chance of winning the 2011 World Cup, your backs are the onlty backs who can trouble New Zealand.

  • great talent, just loves the fuckin drink

  • I know this guy acts like a tool of the pitch, but on the pitch there is no one with more raw talent than him. I used to sprint train with him, he can run 30metres in 3s flat, no jokes. There are tricky characters in all sports: Ashley Cole, John Terry, or Ryan Giggs, all have there probs, he just needs a good manager to get him to play well... on and off the pitch.

  • he would be a great winger... pity he wants to be a flyhalf

  • I don't want that man to return to the northern hemisphere

  • cipriani is a common italian surname for who didn't know and the correct pronounce isn't "sipriani" but "cipriani"

  • Im half English half South African so im not slagging off england or the southern hemp. but yer england and SA play a different game, its not as exciting but its not worse in anyway just different. I really think England should try a centre pairing of say harpe and matthew tait, not tindall. Cause Tait is very dangerous with the ball and has soild defense...also he can pace most wingers and harpe's tackle breaking is the best england have at 12. and delon armitage should play 11 not cueto..

  • @TheSpringbok23 well said, agree tindall should go, would like to see manu tuilagi in the centre though and maybe ugo monye for mark cueto?? But definately agree SA and England need to play different styles, neither is bad.

  • @TheSpringbok23 Yeah I'm an Aussie and we seem to have some really great backs but just can't develop a scrum to save ourselves. I think it is, in a way, because Rugby comes after AFL, League and even Soccer, so to get big crowds they have to play a really attacking, attractive style of Rugby (aka the Reds this year) which doesn't leave much room for developing good props/hookers etc.

  • cipriani's defence is awful all the commentators say it his attacking ability is very good but for johnson to come calling he HAS to improve his defensive capabilities

  • Looking Good Cipriani. We will see him in an England shirt again.

  • @TheSkankat I was born in kenya but when my dad got offered a job at a UN office in london our family moved over as diplomats. So i've been here since i was one which meant i grew up here, first played rugby at a very young age at school and still do for my current school. Everything you pointed out is completely true about the southern hemp. Its a whole different scenario at the world cup, thats why it wouldnt be crazy if you said england will win. But england have a big chance in 2015.

  • @TheSkankat ok fair enough i wasn't tryin to slagg off england i only meant at the current moment they're playing abit more conservative than lets say 1 yr ago or half a year ago. that being said they're still a very good team, and i don't know why they say they're boring alot because honestly i have seen england play more exciting rugby. Thats what i wanna see them play like cause honestly they could beat anyone if they did that. Maybe its our midfield (centres) or somin else.

  • @victors91 I see what you're saying, English centres lack the necessary distribution skills to stretch defences and make the kind of crash ball running that the Johnson seems so insistent on effective. Does anyone remember the last time Harpe made a clean break for England or Bath? This lack of versatility in attack is exaggerated by Tindal's limited threat with ball in hand, whereas playing Banahan outside Harpe means we are fielding two fairly incomplete centres who are both defensively raw.

  • @RANDOM595 You and me both!

  • @TheSkankat a. dont get a right boner over my grammar, this isnt a grammer soceity debate :P

    b. Wales and France are good rugby teams, would you like to give me some of your examples of 'good' rugby teams :L

    c. How do you even know if i am some inbred cunt ? you've never even met me before :L

  • @TheSkankat ur a dumbass confused fucker.......the ashton try was probably one of the few exctiting tries they scored last year, they probably scored only 4 exciting tries that whole year, whilst teams like south africa, the all blacks and the wallabies can score that much good tries in one match against good teams, such as the all blacks vs Wales in July, oh yea and the wallabies vs France

  • @TheSkankat Mate your just a idiot honestly, I been making a balanced and unbiased opinion then you come into the mix n start being a knob

  • @TheSkankat Right dickhead you need to learn how to fucking read coz I said WHEN he played for them they were boring, I did not mention the side that is playing now, in fact i recall i praised them considering they just won the grand slam. And another thing you incredibly dull cunt, I aint fucking australian! So you can take that extremly shite insult about cricket or what ever and shuv it up you ignortant ass. Thats a lol! CUNT

  • @rygipeldroed111 Good points just a little damper on that we won the six nations but we didn't get the grandslam

  • @vegatablesouptom Just re read my comment I did forget that Ireland beat them, Its that Nike England Grand Slam video that got me confused

  • @rygipeldroed111 Lol, twas a pretty funny ad :L

  • @TheSkankat First things first you can fuck right off if your gonna act like that. Was no fucking need for that you absolute cunt. And to answer your question on what the aussie can teach him that england can't? A fuck load thats what and thats a fact. Thats why the Super 15 standard is 1000x better than that or the north's. What team handed the English their own ARSES in july! Cunt.

  • hero! love him.

  • Cutting to the important stuff: that is a fugly kit Melbourne are wearing.

  • He's a raw precocious talent that England should have nurtured better.... Quad Cooper, has failings all over the place but his attacking flair is beyond reproach, Australian rugby decided that 2-3yr from the world cup this was their fly-half and 10-15 tri-nations games of rugby would either make him or break him. he is now probably no.2 on the world list of fly-halfs. Matthew Tait was tackled ONCE on debut and has never been backed again, Cipriani barely got a sniff. ERFU are cowards to talent

  • @Punnarniman completely agree with everything you said.

  • @Punnarniman Imagine cipers, ashton, foden, tuilagi etc?? Get rid of the old farts and inject some young raw talent in there! I believe the players are good its the coaches and as you say the ERFU are to blame!

  • @Punnarniman to add to that list are people such as david strettle, mike brown and topsy ojo

  • @Punnarniman matthew tait could have been so fucking good

  • @philipeafroboy1 tait could have been our conrad smith who i think is the best current all black

  • @Punnarniman yeah, except with more pace, doesnt help that his club doesnt really pick him anymore either. Hopefully he can pick up some form and the new england coach will pick him. Him and Manu Tuilagi would be insane!

  • @Punnarniman to be honest i wouldn't want him in my team (the blues), doesn't he have one of the worst tackling records in super15 last year? Defence isn't everything for a 1st 5, but you definately want the first man off the scrum to be able to tackle..

  • @VReyland91 I hear what your saying but it's the same issue Australia & Queensland had with Quad Cooper 2-3 years ago, he couldn't tackle for toffee, but they stuck with him and made him learn to front up. Come the world cup he could handle it. I think if he'd been in England's 22 at the very least, covering fly half and full back over the same period he would have been more than up to the tasks. When management doubt you, you inevitably doubt yourself. Believe is a powerful ally.

  • @Punnarniman he turned up to his first england training session in a ferari, he was in the media limelight with his girlfriend and had a drinking problem. That is all his issues and something the RFU could do little to help.

  • @Punnarniman, your comment of him being the no.2 fly-half in the world is absolutely ridiculous, Jonathan Sexton, Rhys Priestland and Dan Carter are all much better players than Cipriani and also much better proffesionals. Cipriani fails to prove himself on the international level when he has played and in all honest opinion is not worthy of the jersey, he comes across as too much of a enigma and in the role of Cristiano Ronaldo, a player like this does not belong in rugby!

  • @RyanWrest Ever watch him 2007/08 season? This guy was on fire and was better than anyone else, if anyone has X factor it is him.

  • "He just clapped the gas on and SHUT THE GATE!"

  • What a try! On 1st phase from own 10 metres i guess...crazy Cipriani!

  • He was brilliant before he broke his leg, then after that nobody gave him time to get back to his best. A couple of years playing in super rugby and england will want him back!

  • @SirBurgundy Even if he does improve I can't see him replacing Flood. Even if his defence does improve the fact that Flood plays week in week out with Ben Youngs and has developed a great partnership with him will put him ahead.

Can't see him replacing Ol' Jonny as the No.2 Fly-half either because...well he's Jonny.

  • @MrZogsify doesn't have to play at 10 when he was at wasps he was a good full back, also possibly a centre as i feel that was possibly our weakest position in the 6 nations and it kills me to say it johnny is getting old now may only have 3 years or so left, cips could then be seen as a number 2 to flood.

  • @SirBurgundy Problem is though he'll never replace Foden at full-back, Allen or Twelvetrees are England's future 12's and Tuilagi is the most likely candidate for 13 when they no longer need Tindall's experience & leadership (and let's face it he provides sod all in actual playing ability).

Admittedly with Jonny signing a new contract with Toulon he'll be out of the England team but Johnson will just pick the less talented but more dependable Hodgson rather than running back to Cipriani.

  • @MrZogsify i agree with the points you have made but i think that he has too much potential for england to ignore especially as he is only 24 which is still young.

  • @SirBurgundy It's Ol' Granite Johnson he's got to convince though. If Cipriani decides to stay in Australia for the next couple of years Johnson won't give him a look in no matter how much he improves.

  • in SUPER XV he is studing a game

  • i'm an aussie and he definetly does not look out of place here

  • no that's why he WAS playing test rugby for england

  • irish tru and tru but my god where respect is due you have to give it.. cipriani wat a try!!!!

  • Flood and Wilkinson are ten times better, ok they migh not produce that kind of try but they wouldnt have missed the tackle or thrown the pass that lead to two of the Sharks other scores they cipriani did

  • @jc545staffy u stole that off guscott!

  • @hywel99 stole what?

  • @jc545staffy This is the kind of conservative attitude that England don't need. Do you think Australia would drop Quade Cooper because he makes more mistakes than someone like Berrick Barnes? Consistently picking the "safe" option over a talented one will never elevate a team to the top tier of test rugby.

  • @smithyboy00 how is that conservative, do you even know what that means? picking Cipriani is not an option atm, its not playing safe its playing it correctly he is not as rounded as other 10's. As for safe over talented yeah you tell wilko and his point score and his numerous game turning dump tackles he pulls out the bag. And as for flood, he wasnt exactly the safe option, only recently has he started producing quality to keep the jersey.

  • @jc545staffy Conservative: button down, unimaginatively conventional (Princeton Wordnet). I think it can apply here, don't you? When you say not as rounded as other 10's, what do you mean? That his defence is his weakpoint? There are plenty of other fly halves with the same problem who have been playing test rugby for years. I do not have a problem with the selection of Flood, he is a very good player, however Wilkinson over the past 5 years has been average at best.

  • @jc545staffy Good call..

  • @jc545staffy Before he shagged his ankle he was a fantastic player and if anyone has x factor he has it!

  • @jc545staffy agreed, he actually loses this game for the rebels despite that try.

  • He was always capable of doing that for England... unfortunatly he can't or just refuses to tackle. No passengers in Rugby

  • he never did that for england.....

  • @entershikari619

He never did that for England coz when he played for England they were a one dimensional, boring side. He is finally in an enviornment where he is improving as a player and playing with good team around him

  • @rygipeldroed111 i live in england and tottally agree with you :)

  • @victors91

    I'm welsh lol,

  • @rygipeldroed111

are you really sure about that?

In England we have both dimensions - forwards and backs..............

Danny was always capable of devastating tries, he just needs to work on getting a more rounded overall game.

He is in Super 15 because he will be appreciated and be a box office draw - In England if you are a lightweight at stand-off you get found out real quickly and don't get the recognition that this guy obviously craves.

  • @quedgeminkey

I am pretty sure, What was it? 2 years ago when he put on the England jersey, I am pretty sure he would be more devastating for England now then he would of been then not because he has improve but the team game plan would suit him.

  • @rygipeldroed111

Yeah, Melbourne Rebels - a good team who play multi-dimensional rugby. That's why they're 14th out of 15 teams, have a 75% loss rate, and a points difference of -72

  • @PBSmithy

Its what like week 4? So you can hardly faily rate that 4 games into their first ever super 15 season.

Anyway Im not even a rebels fan, I just believe the quality and standard of southern hemisphere rugby is so good that it beats northen hemisphere rugby.

  • @rygipeldroed111 Has he improved as a player? His attack has never been suspect, just his crappy defence. Judging from the rest of the game he still isn't up to an international standard.

  • @MrZogsify

Yes after his England debut he dropped in form by a great deal, since he left England I reckon he has improved. His defense is very poor and that will get better but for now I think we are starting to see the start of a new Danny Cipriani

  • @rygipeldroed111 Don't you think the injury had something to do with it?

  • @rygipeldroed111 agreed!

  • @rygipeldroed111 im british but love the southern hemisphere rugby style much more exciting

  • @kevhugheswing14 Agreed, I watched some of the Heineken cup or whatever it is and it was just scrum, scrum, penalty, scrum scrum penalty...repeat etc.etc.

  • @sovietkomrades were are you from mate?

  • @kevhugheswing14 haha Australia so I'm probably biased :P I think it's more that in Australia Rugby is essentially our 3rd or 4th Winter sport so they have to play really fast, attractive games to get crowds...hence why our scrum is so horrible lol

  • @rygipeldroed111 I wouldn't say it's a "good team"...I'm from Melbourne they are improving but Cipriani was benched for half the season because he wasn't good enough, can't tackle to save himself. It's just unfortunate that in Melbourne Rugby hardly makes the papers, it's all AFL :S

  • @rygipeldroed111 so true! thats why he flourished too during his stint with the wasps! he flourished when they allowed him to use his creativity. he was confined to such slow style rugby when he played for them. he was slowed down by the teams tactics.

  • @rygipeldroed111 I think being in a league like this is the best thing for cipriani. Your right when you say england were one dimensional.

  • @rygipeldroed111 That's probably what he'd say because he's an arrogant bastard.

  • @rygipeldroed111 how are the rebels a good team, they came comfortably bottom of the super 15 league and danny cipriani was rubbish for them, he was also statistically the worst tackler in the division that year. its not because england are boring its because:

    he is shit

  • @decoonsw6 Yes he is so shit he plays super 15 as starting 10. As commentator stuart barnes said, does he tackle and get buried in a pile or is he always there to control the game? I know where i would want my 10

  • quality try
