Hard to say... I've got both and I like both. However, since RW3 popped up, I've not so much as opened Trainz. I think I prefer the stability of RW3 myself, as my machine (though a stonking game rig) still have problems with trains (possibly as I am running 64 bit?).

If you have to chose one, sight unseen, then RW will probably give you more, but if you do have a chance, give both the once over, as they both have their merits.

I really want this but unfortunately it is way to expensive, The same price of the game infact. I live in Edinburgh and used to get this line all the time. IF they lowered the price I would get it.

What happened to the rear coach? The train started the journey as a 3-car dmu, and turned into a 2-ca (Driving trailer +trailer) about a third of the way into the journey. Only sayin...

Nice video just watching now... and downloading now via steam, i tried the 'extended' demo shall we say and i thought oh I'll crank it all up and it looked great but slow as arseholes 10fps, looking at your video although you have a higher resolution (mine is 1920x1080) you have removed some textures or lighting effects to get your fps up? anyways looks nice and I'm looking forward to it when ready and i hope to get some nice footage.

@JohnyBravoSix yeah thanks mate, I've still got an hour left to wait till it's finished downloading on steam, anyways i hear this game can be slow on the best of machines, it worked well out of the box using the *cough* demo *cough* version i got then i cranked the AA and everything else to the top and i slowed it all down :) i have an SLI setup 2xGTX570 and something in this game brought my system to it's knees :) but I'll play, check my chan for videos soon, cheers

@JohnyBravoSix Thanks, i just managed to get my copy via steam last night and i played till 7AM :) everything maxed out at 1920x1080 then made the mistake of setting my anti-alias to SSAA3x3 which tripled my screen resolution and slowed it all, so i run everything maxed out and setting the AA slider to the 6th notch which is about my max (SSAA 2x1) but I'm still experimenting, going to the 4th notch MLAA+MSAAx8 is optimum for me, looks great, will make video soon, cheers dude.

I like this route very well, the 170 dmu, is a  nice train to drive with i like the sound of it as well.

I hope they make a route from Cork to Dublin some day?

@TheRaillion I like this route as well but recently I uploaded 4 parts of Bristol to Exeter route and I would recommend to watch it if you like this video.

I using fraps to capture the video and sony vegas program to edit it...its more complicated that that but that's the basis.

@vogelbekdier97 I think it is sort a alarm. It signalises that on the particular part of the route you going to fast or too slow.

@vogelbekdier97 It is the AWS cab sunflower - It goes off then when passing over an AWS ramp, if the next signal is green then it will make a kind of 'bing' sound and if the next signal is Yellow, Double Yellow or ERed then it will sound a warning, if you pass the signal at danger then the train will automatially stop.

@TheRaillion lol I just checked the system requirements and it only needs 256mb of ram. Which is the lowest I ever seen and 1.7 Ghz which is low. And I ran a test on canyourunit. com and I passed it all the way so yeah :P
