Hey! i have watched many of your videos. You do not have to explain yourself to people on here. If that person has a problem with your videos they can watch somewhere else. Keep on doing a good job.
Hi, Waco. I got some Tsubaki oil for my knives. Is it safe for food preparation? I don't use WD40 and other household oils because they aren't safe to ingest... and I'm hoping that Tsubaki oil is. Thanks!
@ScottsUtubeWorld I guess the Tsubaki oil is mixture of Camellia oil and mineral oil. It smells or tastes nothing. And they don't say it is poisonous. Of course I never use it for cooking directly. But I think it's safe as long as used for knife care. Many Japanese knife dealers are selling it for kitchen knife care. Thanks.
don't worry for the guy comments... he probably don't remember how food comes to his plate.... and he probably prefer the terrible conditions animals live in in industrial farms... far from the eyes ..
let the haters hate, don't let it get to you. You tube is a very mixed community with many different kinds of people, and someone will always get offended by something. enjoy your hunting and outdoor experience.
Wako San..another great one. Thanks. How about Rod Stewart's "Every Picture Tells a Story" next time. Because in these vids., every picture does tell a story. Especially the robot toilets.
"Every picture tells a story don't it...every picture tells a story don't it.."
As far as I'm concerned, your ethics and honor are beyond questionining. It appears that this person's opinion has hurt you deeply. Don't let it. Move on and enjoy the rest of your hunting season. " No problem." BTW, I have to disagree with you. I think the Fox River is the most elegant looking knife in the BRKT line. And it performs as well as it looks.
Don't let the opinion of one narrow minded idiot affect you. You do great stuff here and you teach us so much. The "dishonorable" action would have been to let the stag run away after the first hit like I've seen some other hunters do. Your kill was with honor. Given the terrain and conditions, it's not always easy to get " one shot, one kill". Obviously this guy has never picked up a rifle. Like you said. It's finished and done. We've already given this guy way more attention on this forum
I actually only watch your videos for the hunting parts. You have the best hunting videos on youtube hands down. Im not much of a knife person like you (even though I now will only buy what you recommend for hunting knives) but I am more into rifles and hunting. Thanks for your videos and please keep them coming. I especially like the little extras you put in that help us understand a little more about Japan..Thanks so much for your vids!
I agree with the others here: Apparently you do it not for cruelty and so you have not to explain anything. If somebody don't want to see your hunting, he can switch to an other video or channel. I'm not a hunter so I personally regret a bit you are not using more of the deer, if you shoot it (for instance the leather), but you have to carry it to your car.
@MrOnion2001 in some places around the world the wild life doesnt get hunted for meat and such but primarily just to keep their numbers down so they dont do a whole lot of damage to the enviroment. that is because theres a lack of big, "natural" predators (due to human influences). it has to be done and is perfectly justified and still would be even if he (the man in the video) didnt use any of the deers meat, if he left it all to rott/for the birds and such. harden your heart.
Thanks for the knife reviews and the interesting hunting scenes do not let negative people get under your skin you can't please every one. He probably does not even like himself.
One of the most impressive attributes of Wako is that he tries to be as accurate with his tongue as he is with his hunting tools. There is an uncommon feeling of truthfulness when listening to Wako. It sounds cliche, but the Japanese culture does seem to know a thing or two about Honor!
Wako san, you don't owe anybody any explanation. As it clearly shows many of your viewers love what you do and enjoyed what you share. People who have followed your channel for a while understood all the circumstances - overpopulation issues and gun restrictions. Its a free world and you are entitled to do what is legally allowed. You are indeed a very experienced hunter and there is no doubt about that.
Wako, my friend, this is a part of deer hunting. We practice with our weapons in order to make quick and humane kills. We respect the animal. I have seen deer take seven bullets before dying and each shot should have been mortal. These things happen to the most ethical hunters. Ignore the negative comments.
Wako, it is impossible for thousands of people to like you without having a few not. The greatest and most loved people in history had some people hate them, so we can't expect everyone to like us. Especially when you consider that jealousy and envy as well as a person's own unhappiness with himself factors in we must accept that we will have a few enemies in life. You and your friends know that you are ethical, we trust you, and we enjoy your videos very much. Please ignore the negative people.
@campcomp00 From October to March for full 6 months. We don't have some special firearm season like in the US. We can use any firearms which are allowed to each hunter. Thanks.

@virtuovice I think it may have something to do with the ergonomics of the fox river the downswept angle of the blade reminds of that of the bucklite max .. Seems to have more belly then the gunny .. I'd like to examine both blades in my hands to gain more perspective. Awesome video my friend . High tec toilet amused me greatly

Hello Wako, I feel I need to respond to the last part of this video. Apparently you have received criticism. So just to let you know: I am not a dear hunter, but I do enjoy your videos very much.
In all of the great number of videos that you have produced, I have never seen any unethical or disrespectful behavior towards your prey. Your opinons mean so much to me, and I have learned alot about Japan and the beauties it holds. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your hunting experience with us.
Yes I see now, the handles in the knife must be freezing g cold g10! I'm switching all my fixed blades to wood personally, I think the drop point in the fox river also changes the way the belly is used in your holding, the gunny is a great knife like the bravo1 however it would be better if they both had drop point in my opinion, that is why I'm working on my new design for the bravo1 :) I'm sure you will like it!
Your yellow coat is loud and crunchy, like potato chip. Ski fabric is loud in the cold.

Hello sir, I i'm a deer hunter my self and i understand what you are saying but will be dificult to please every one on the webb, so just focus on the good comments and the people that care and enjoy your work. i do so please keep them coming...
HOT LEGGS!!! Great opening. I think you are right the FoxRiver is more of a scalping, defined working design for petite work. Wako, most hunters over here in the USA don't understand your limited in which caliber you use to hunt with. 410 shotgun. In USA most hunt with large caliber 12ga shotguns or rifles 30-30, 270, 30-06 or even a big 300 mag. Even with those shot placed at best, a hunter cannot predict what the animal will do. Deer are survivors. Your Great Hunter!!!
Another great video. I understand what you mean and really enjoy watching your hunting videos. If he does not agree with your hunting then he can choose not to watch.
My uncle once shot a deer and had a perfect shot and when he came up to the deer to gut it the deer stuck his leg through my uncles side. He had the presence of mind to finish off the deer and not pull the leg out (he would have bled to death) he cut the leg off and came back with it sticking out of him. Some deer are very, very tough even with good shot placement they can live for a while. They took him to the hospital and were able to save his life.
I thought my grandpa had some crazy hunting stories, but I think that is the craziest thing Ive ever heard! Now thats a real man. I wonder what people would think seeing him walking in the woods with a deer leg sticking out of him
@freestylmx311 That whole bunch up there in those days were a tough bunch. They grew up in the depression and more of their life was tough as hell than not. You did what you had to do or you didn't make it.
all your videos are great, dont worry about that one in a million guy who criticized you,its the same as your one in a million deer that refused to die=it very rarely happens,
the guys you are talking about must me a vegetarian....otherwise how on earth does he think the meat on his table gets there......does a T bone grows on trees???
I think the Bravo1 locks your hand into one position and makes it hard to rotate. The Fox River will allow your hand to roll, I am going to adjust the handle on your Thrive because of what I just saw you do. I hope for the better.
There are many more people that DO LOVE your videos, and dont comment, then those who DONT like and leave negative comments. Remember that friend and dont let those ruin it for us who enjoy. I look forward to your videos more than anyone eles.
Dont worry about the people who call you unethical or other terms. There will always be people who dont believe in hunting. There are good hunters and bad. You are a good hunter. The bad hunters are the ones that kill just for fun and dont care about the animals or eat their meat. We wouldnt be alive today without our ancestors hunting. You seem like a very good person, dont let lease peoples comments bother you
The Fox River has a slightly longer blade and the belly is slightly deeper than that of the Gunny. the belly curve is More forward on blade so twisting keeps belly in Muscle. beautiful video...
Another great vid ..great guy & hunter..good luck

I thought my grandpa had some crazy hunting stories, but I think that is the craziest thing Ive ever heard! Now thats a real man. I wonder what people would think seeing him walking in the woods with a deer leg sticking out of him

@freestylmx311 That whole bunch up there in those days were a tough bunch. They grew up in the depression and more of their life was tough as hell than not. You did what you had to do or you didn't make it.

I think the Bravo1 locks your hand into one position and makes it hard to rotate. The Fox River will allow your hand to roll, I am going to adjust the handle on your Thrive because of what I just saw you do. I hope for the better.

Tour de Crapper... I love it.
Restrooms like that in the USA would simply get trashed. The unclean masses would sh*t all over the controls.
