I am confused about gun jams. Can someone explain what it is? I tried looking it up, but, I don't fully comprehend it. All I know, it sounds dangerous to either the shooter or the person being shot at.
Also, notice he picks up a gun in the end? Who's gun is that?
@JediMaster362 The description is incorrect, as there wasn't a jam in the suspects firearm. A jam usually occurs when a spent cartridge is not completely expelled when fired, and gets caught in the weapons breach. This can occur for a multitude of reasons. The suspect had a revolver, attempted to fire his weapon, unaware that the round was already spent.
What happened was, the suspect was armed with a revolver. A revolver holds either 5 or 6 rounds in a revolving cylinder. The spent casings have to be manually dumped from the cylinder, he had a spent casing lined up between the firing pin and barrel, and attempted to shoot at the officer. He again squeezed the trigger and fired a live round at the officer. If he had not had a spent casing in the cylinder, he would have killed the officer

I've been known to post comments on videos like this where I condemn the actions of a police officer as being excessive force. In this case, I am going to commend the officer for his marksmanship on hitting that asshole in the back of the head through a rear window and several seats while the vehicle was in motion.
Did you guys notice the driver that died crashed into a power pole or a transformer down the road and there was a big flash and the lights went out. Just watch it from 0:51 seconds.
Just one question. Why a trial? Is the DA trying to score some kind of brownie points with someone. Cop did exactly the right thing. Checked the story. Coroners inquest. That's all.
