There isn't any positive comments worth posting for this movie. That's the only prob. The actors sucked and the movie idolizes someone who should have been locked away instead of becoming an icon for the failing American society.

On a positive note, all the actors did a great job, especially Jamal. They nailed it on the money when they casted him. On the other hand, Basset looks nothing like Ms. Wallace, but did well regardless. They just needed more info, and it wouldn't hurt to make the movie over 2 hours. Shit, "Walk The Line" was.

B.I.G. was a great rapper but the movie sucked ass, they really should've lip synched his raps.
The only thing the movie did for me was to help me realize how wicked of a person B.I.G. was and I believe he and Junior Mafia had Tupac set up in Quad Studio, because B.I.G. seemed envious of Tupac even though Pac helped him a lot.
I also hate how they tried to portray Faith as this little innocent angel, LOL!!!
I would prefer to watch a movie about Lil' Kim's life.

On a positive note, all the actors did a great job, especially Jamal. They nailed it on the money when they casted him. That proves that you don't always need a big name celebrity to do the job, they is much underground talent out there. The characters that portray Faith, Kim, Diddy, and Pac were great. On the other hand, Basset looks nothing like Ms. Wallace, but did well regardless. They just needed more info, and it wouldn't hurt to make the movie over 2 hours. Shit, "Walk The Line" was.

This movie was nothing more that average. I'm getting so sick of these half-assed "homage movies"(i.e.-Cadillac Records, Dreamgirls, and countless others) that just gather the "E True Hollywood" version of the tale and figure they can just form that into a movie. No, it doesn't work like that. Everything felt too rushed and was just one big blur. In fact, I didn't even learn anything new about Biggie that I didn't know already. I got more info from the BET special last week. It's all one- sided.
