I guess you got the real footage of hyperion from th Nat Geo vid. Although the tree you look up an looks nothing like hyperion. you should know that, it is on steep terrain. I was just there yesterday. it was magnificent.

Well, you made it up at least as far as the Trees of Mystery where the Paul Bunyan is. Much too far north for Hyperion. But not that far from Iluvatar and Lost Monarch, the two largest redwoods, in Jed Smith and Prairie Creek Redwoods.
