  • I wonder if anyone else notices that every track in this game is stolen from other NES games(lot of Konami games in their.) The intro is heavily remixed off of capcom games. Can you name them all?

  • Best NES music ever. Hands down.

  • Hm ? stage 3 and 4`s BGM skiped ?

  • Seriously, this is pure 80's like metal, like most soundtracks for epic NES games(ninja gaiden for example). Just not played on real instruments.

  • one of my first NES games, bought for 15$ at woolworths

  • whats the song called at 3:38 ? thanks!!

  • 1:56 best powerrock 8-bit song on the nes hands down

  • the first song at a certain point syncs up perfectly to the main ninja gaiden theme...is this like a secret sequel to NG?

  • Kids these days won't know how good NES musics are....

  • Great musics..but strangely that sound more like a best of/medley of what the nes can do..listen at 3:38 sound a lot to shatterhand area b factory

  • I love this game! Its so fun, great music too.

  • This is my best Ninja game. I do not understand why people post so many Ninja Gaiden video rather than this genius work on Youtube.

  • 2:17 is too similiar to sixpounder by cob

  • EPIC intro music

  • Gameplay gets old, the graphics are what they are, but the music still rocks.

  • I loved this game so much. I played hours and hours non stop with my little brother. I hated the part with 'like-dragons in the sewer coming out of the water' part. You had to hit the segments but we failed numerous times lol. Thanks Garudoh!!!!

  • natsumeeeeeeeee i love you <3

this game was a blessing to my childhood

  • I love this game. Got super duper lucky and found this game, along with four others (Zen: Intergalactic Ninja, Conquest Of The Crystal Palace (AWESOME GAME), Ninja Gaiden (I have this already, but I'm gonna give this one to my older sister whom I gave a Retro Duo for Christmas), Zanac). I got all 5 for $30. Awesome.

  • Actually, the song at 3:38 sounds just like Stage C of Shatterhand. Both made by Natsume, by the way.

  • I thought some of those songs sounded kind of familar. Don't get me wrong, the music's still great and all, I just thought I'd heard a song or two from elsewhere.

  • Don't feel bad bro. Since they were both by Natsume, I can only assume that's why the songs sound so similar.

  • I can't believe that some of you think it's him playing this game. How in the earth is it possible to be this good on like over 500 games or whatever his video count says atm.

It's just random speedruns he get's on the internet. And if it were him he's playing them in slowmotion so there's no bragging there anyways. =)

  • Damn to be able to play like that, you must have had the whole game memorized!

  • the intro theme is the best

  • how did he get homing stars?! mine only went straight

  • u need have lv 3 at ur weapon. For sword it is the logest one. For kunai with chain it is the one with additional sword. Then ur shuriken will be homing one.

  • The intro and stage 1 songs are the best imo :), but stage 2 has a great track as well ofc :P

  • I miss this game. I often find myself humming the music from the first stage.

  • you're not alone in that. i have that habit about this game as well :D

  • Natsume were gods of side-scrolling action games like Blue Shadow (this), Pocky & Rocky and even shoot em up like Wild Guns.

  • They made the Lufia series, which was awesome.

  • Don't forget Shatterhand and Abadox. Back in the 8 bit era, Natsume was a GOD of gaming.

  • Oh, this game is my treasure, i 've play a thousand of times, but never get bored, gameplay and especially music is flawless. But it's very sad many underrate this game. Thank you for posting this vid and share your emotion and memory

  • Man, you have no idea how long I have been looking for this theme. For about 14 years to be precise. Thank you.

  • My uncle bought me this for my birthday when I was about 5. Great game I can still hum along to all the music lol.

  • i concur 100 % good sir

i was also 4-5 when i got the game, one of the best things that happened to me next to mega man

  • one of my first NES games when i was about 8 or 9 around 1990

  • Underrated game.

  • For real. This is a real treasure... Played it the most out of all my games... Still have it!

  • fucking cool game...

    Exelentes compositores!!!

    Saudades desta época T-T

  • I have a couple of amazing heavy metal covers of the music from this game. Look for "Fall of Garuda" by ansgaros, and "Two Shadows Appear" by BrainCells. :)

  • anyone know how to convert an nsf file to mp3?

  • Comment removed

  • kick ass game indeed

  • man this game is kick ass

  • Anyone else think the song at 3:38 sounds strikingly like something straight from Castlevania?

Still a great soundtrack though... :)

  • Yeah! I noticed that too.

And there was one at 2:00 that sounded just like a song from Interstellar Assault. Both of the games are made by Konami, but this was isn't.

    HMMMMM

  • @GypsyRed

Reminds me a lot of Beginning in Castlevania 3...

  • Can anyone tell me if I can play this game online?

  • u can download it and there is a nes emulator that allows u to play it online with another player

  • lol i still have and play this often, i loved this game.

  • Played this alot as a kid.

Certainly Top5 on the best games for the NES EVER!!

  • this game was one of the best.

  • Thanks!

It works great, but only converts nfs files that were allready extracted by some wise guys. If you know some extractor that works with NES ROMs and extracts nfs compatible with VirtuaNFS, please let ne know

    ^.^

By the way, I found some great remix of one of the tunes from "Shadow..." (it's on ocremix webpage)

    It rocks!

  • Why not just get the NSF for the game? Check out the intro video for my channel and you'll get a link where you can find it.

  • How to convert nfs files to mp3 ???

    or vma... ???

nfs plugin for winamp doas not work for me, and listening to nes OSTs on my mp3 portable player would be nice ^,^

    Any ideas ???

  • If WinAmp isn't working for you, then I highly recommend VirtuaNSF. It's super simple, and has a wave-out feature that works like a charm. I guess you'll have to convert those into mp3's, but at least it should get you your tunes. Good luck.
