my fav: Grid (but you rlly need a steering wheel to fully enjoy it)
Why? Well, NFSuc is fun, for 5 hours if you don't rush, you think, cool I can change my car but later on the worthless and hasty programming begins to surface. The game just isn't finished enough. plus, and don't get me wrong here, arcade can be fun sometimes, it's a kid's racing game... Hey, let's take that corner (*kuch* cutting a corner on a 4-6 lane (which is more like 8 lanes wide isn't rlly hard...)
@ 300 km/h, oh no, I think I won't make it (not really a problem because your car is like a balloon(one that doesn't explode ever!)). No problem, use ur NOS to (!) gain control and take the corner faster and sharper. You see, if you want a game where you'll actually learn to race.. take grid.
And the graphics? Grid's better, tho I don't really watch them while cutting a corner in my car while dancing a tango with my brake and accelarate pedals to keep it stable
For those who are arcade fans, nfs is inevitably better. For those who like it a little more realistical, Grid is way way better. I prefer grid, no doubt on that... Try to play grid without any driver assists ( Traction control OFF , Manual gearbox, Brake assist OFF and Stability control OFF) and you'll see how much fun you can get !!! It's just amazing !!
GRiD was meant to be a very arcade game with somewhat physics realism. I love the graphics, it is not too light or dark, maintains realism without making you feel dizzy. The gameplay is an awesome, flowing experience. Winning an event really gives a good feeling, as the A.I. is hard. This game takes a bit more skill the prostreet, prostreet is more about "may the better car win=" The replayability is awesome, menus are simple and soft on the eyes.
The only half-enjoyable prostreet part were the drag races, which were somewhat new. For Undercover, the first 2 days you play it you are suprised by the customization, graphics, and free roaming. Then you get bored with the same repeated missions, polices, cutscenes, etc. It may be slightly more fast paced than the darkened prostreet, but after some time the replayability goes down the drain.
GRiD is waaay better. From Carbon and on, NFS has been a piece of sh1z. NFS was known for its arcade-style fun racing. Now for carbon it started its bad streak of racing games. Carbon was not fast paced enough, had mediocre graphics, and the gameplay was avidly boring. The free roaming was fruitless. For ProStreet, it had an extremely "ricer" feeling. Cars were terribly easy to control, and there was no fun feeling to many of the races.
Well I`m waiting for NFS Shift , and I hope to be better, same great graphics or over.... but I played GRID and was so nervous because I lost few races due a tired AI driver that comes ,hits me and send my car to a wall trip, and on curves if you are leaving the asphalt your car will go nuts. So , NFS Undercover has better handling for cars and I like more than Grid.
yes... when u start playing the game u can't drive... i can't play grid only at drift, because the other races have narrow street and too many cars... nfs has the best racing games
Grid Is Better by miles, NFS has gone really crap you are paying about £30 to £40 on a game that you can finish in less then 9 hours i know because i did it in 8, then what is there to do after the story? get chashed by cops, it is to much like Most Wanted thats the bad thing about it, NFS usedto be great to play back when it was for the PC with Hot pursuit, Road Challange and so on, one mistake on them games and it was hard to get back where you were.
GRID IS THE BEST
