That has got to be the worst Fafnir build I have seen in all honesty. Your accuracy is pathetic, along with your piloting. You somehow managed to bring that Atlas down to critical core damage early, but it took you a whole minute to finish him off after that. Even with that terrible design, you should have been able to finish him with only light damage, but instead let him hammer you while you tried to figure out how to turn around. Please, learn how to play before trying to instruct others.

Looking at this design, was a little worried about heat, when I go against big mechs I always target the leg, makes it easy to take them down if they cant turn around. decent design liked that you added heat sinks, would have liked it better if you aimed for the kneecaps when the atlas first got in range. overall good vid.

@k1ll3rkan1n3 You need MechWarrior 4 Mech Paks - one is Inner Sphere Mech Pak (the one with cauldron-born and 3 others) and the other one is Clan Mech Pak (one with Masakari, Kodiak and two others)

I haven't played mw 4 in a long time, but I still remember some of the mechs I used:

Templar with 4 RAC2s and 4 ER med lasers.

Cauldron Born w 4 LRM15s, maxed engine, Enhanced Optics, LAMS

Ryoken w X-Pulse Laser, Ultra 10 AC, maxed engine and armor

Flea w Clan tech upgrade

Masakari w 4 ER PPCs

Hellhound w LB10X AC, 4 x-pulse med lasers, Streak SRM6

dude a Fafnir is like one giant ass turret. You don't want to use it in long range fighs. one, it's a fatass. Two, it's either power, or speed with that thing. If you want a GOOD mech i would suggest a hauptman with 3 LRM 20 and 3 LRM 10, with one ER PPC. or another good HEAVY mech would be an Ares with 2 mini PPC and 2 mini gauss. with jump jets

Fafnir is a really heavy hitting mech. I remember knocking down so many lights, mediums and even heavies with single salvo. I personally use 2 PPCs and 2 HGauss though sometimes I switch those 2 HGauss with 4 Rotary AC 2 for fast paced fights. =D
