  • well those... look nice.

  • 13x3.5 Black Force Walnut...how much?

  • they have a black panther snare, how bout a skinhead snare...

  • I love the looks of the lugs on the 13" Deep Forest piccolo

  • I never really liked mapex after having a couple mapex kits. but the black panther snares are amazing for the price.if you only have $300 and need a decent snare, they are a good choice.

  • where is this store?

  • phenomenal

  • What a phenomenal video.

  • is mapex a good drumming brand?"?"

  • hell yeah

  • Yes its a upcoming very good drum band!!!

  • mapex ha very good snares, very good vid. 5*

check out my video about the 10x5" Effect Snare!

  • (Continued from previous post)

Then once you proceed to play give it 1 or 2 songs and some of the lugs are loose very loose . I have been drumming for 30 years now and I have never come across shit like this. Has any one experienced this also , open for suggestions .

  • Help please I purchased the Mapex Pro M kit and the 14x7" snare that it comes with is a piece of shit , i do not know if it is mines only and I just happened to get lucky or all of the snares on that line SUCK!! . i prefer my snare head tight (I cannot accomplish on this snare without popping the head from its own rim). When you have tightened all lugs evenly ,you push down on the center of head and you will notice it its not fully tight as it should , (continue on next post)

  • I bought a Black Panther snare separately and mine seems cool. Maybe just the way you tune your snare. But I know alot of Mapex players that don't use the snare that comes with the kit so maybe you're not alone there or it might just be your snare is deffective, I suggest taking it to a shop and have them look at it :)

  • @EA369 Our shop carries a Mapex Meridian Birch, Horizon, and a couple of Voyager Kits. I haven't set up the two Voyager kits yet , but I wasn't impressed by the sound of the Meridian all birch snare, or Voyager snare at all, and I spent some time tuning both of them. The snare included with our Tama Superstar kit sounds much better, and construction of the hardware on the snare itself is superior. I would really like to hear some of the Black Panther snares that Mapex offers however.

  • Well, i bought a Mapex MBirch, and that came with a shitty snare that i eventually replaced, but yeah, im not sure whether it's the same with the Pro M's but Mapex might be pretty tight with what snares they give you! (But the toms are lovely)

  • The 14" x 5" is deeper than that 13" by 5.5". How does mapex do it...lol.

  • whoa all those drums a re sooo phenomanol wow!!! how about hitting them you country buck retard

  • hit them!!

  • i bought this a couple weeks ago on sale for 99$ on musician friend i saved like 500 bucks it was out of stock in like 3 days it is amazing

  • ive got the brass snare and sometimes it literally scares me. it is frightening. it is the best thing about my band in fct. thats how good it is.
