  • Back in the 70s I had the pleasure of being the opening act (Children of Music) for these Sisters and Stylistics and backing up these Sisters at Roberts Lounge in Des Moines Iowa. Didn't know they were still kicking, and glad to know they are. Still have my 45 cut of The Bigger You Love--what a cut.

Keep on keeping on, my Sisters.

  • Saw the Sisters Love live in 1972 on the same bill as the Jackson 5 at Manchester's Belle Vue. Will never forget them or the concert. Brill remake, especially with the authentic drum sounds which were a later remix I believe. Just great.

  • Great Tune!!...nice to see these singing it here...thanks...Sarah..x

  • classic from the casino, top tune

  • Brings back wonderful memories - The one on the left looks like shes never aged - fantastic.

  • Looks like a Rudy Calvo make over. They look great. Never knew much about this group. Glad I do now...

  • Oh yes it truly was a Rudy Calvo makeover.

  • Samantha's Sheffield !

  • The Empress Of Soul in full flow..so elegant, understated and controlled but threatening to break out at any moment.

  • Watching this again..it gives me such a RUSH !

  • My day just got brighter !

  • hi there, please add me to your list, i was a regular visitor, to the blackpool mecca(highland room)in its heyday where ian levine was resident dj before his venture down to london,

  • An absolutely fantastic recording, and the best part is that they look like they're having a ball! What a powerful lead vocal!

  • Sisters Love is what's up!!! If you don't have it, PLEASE pick up their compilation called "Give Me Your Love" on the Soul Jazz label from the UK!!! It doesn't have all their singles, but it's the only CD by them out there, so pick one up!!!

  • Never heard of them but you beeter sing

  • I remember buying this record in 1973! I've still got it, I was very particular that the sounds were totally perfect, being a perfectionist (like you Ian!)like to read the details Ian. This is MW 3009 on Mowest(UK) This remake is superb too.

    John
