Back in the 70s I had the pleasure of being the opening act (Children of Music) for these Sisters and Stylistics and backing up these Sisters at Roberts Lounge in Des Moines Iowa. Didn't know they were still kicking, and glad to know they are. Still have my 45 cut of The Bigger You Love--what a cut.
Saw the Sisters Love live in 1972 on the same bill as the Jackson 5 at Manchester's Belle Vue. Will never forget them or the concert. Brill remake, especially with the authentic drum sounds which were a later remix I believe. Just great.
Hi, I'm Søren from Denmark. I hope that people who like this music will join up to receive "Reaching For The Best - The IAN LEVINE Newsletter". I'm doing a regular e-mail newsletter for people who are fans of Ian Levine's music, just like myself. If you too are a genuine fan of his productions, and you love seeing these videos, then send me a message with your e-mail address and I'll add you to the list. It's all free, it's with Ian's full co-operation, so please join in!
hi there, please add me to your list, i was a regular visitor, to the blackpool mecca(highland room)in its heyday where ian levine was resident dj before his venture down to london,
Sisters Love is what's up!!! If you don't have it, PLEASE pick up their compilation called "Give Me Your Love" on the Soul Jazz label from the UK!!! It doesn't have all their singles, but it's the only CD by them out there, so pick one up!!!
I remember buying this record in 1973! I've still got it, I was very particular that the sounds were totally perfect, being a perfectionist (like you Ian!)like to read the details Ian. This is MW 3009 on Mowest(UK) This remake is superb too.

Keep on keeping on, my Sisters.

An absolutely fantastic recording, and the best part is that they look like they're having a ball! What a powerful lead vocal!
