Marvin, it's far fetched for a Deaf Centered politican to be inside the Majority Rule, in other words, inside the Legislative Branch! Because you would still be considered a minority in a hearing society who embraces a culture of audism. No large group of hearing will be convinced together being Deaf is normal. The Majority generally will be biased personally without telling. Hearing will hide the fact that they disagree about deaf being born deaf for life. Educating them hearing a fat chance!
@ASCDEAF I would suggest that we develop a blue print setting up a Minority Rule. a Deaf Centered Legislative branch to be for the Deaf Communities of all 50 States. We would be better off electing our own leaders to represent our Deaf Communities and make bills, revise, amend, repeal, all Deaf Related Laws, so we wont be oppressed needlessly by them hearing folk who are of an auditory based culture. Hearing people will forever fail to cater to our Deaf needs yes miserably as usual..
