This is the best so far. I like the fact the challenger (Chosensha) was calm yet very serious. I wanna give it a four and a half Stars.

I like Iron Chef America, except it's so toned down, the chefs are um... not as acclaimed/talented (except Morimoto), and it's so much easier to win. The dishes tend to be very similar as well. :(

My only problem with Iron Chef is the constant use of the "Big Three": caviar, truffles, and foie gras. It's like you see them in every battle.

I believe the challngers in Iron Chef America can use their own assistants. Maybe that's why they win more often than the challengers in Japan.

the melennium cup episode is non exisistent in the united states even though i would love to see how the hell food network got ahold of it because that's how they got the premise for iron chef america but yes obivusly food network has a copy the melennium cup is like a 3 hour show and has 3 battles

Why not add some more episodes to the Iron Chef series? Including the 2002 Japan Cup which begins with a mock memorial service for Chairman Kaga. When I heard they'd come out with that, I couldn't believe my mind!

They do still have this show on television Cheshirecat1582... Food Network at like 3 or 4am every Tuesday morning. I record them.
