Her skin is far from bad to start with. How old is she? I just can't work out why she would want to take something so strong for such a mild case. Seems like overkill.
I had a very bad reaction to Accutain in 1999 the doctor gave it to me and it caused me to become depressed and suicidal (I use to hold a hunting knife to my chest every night) After 120 days of this, where no one but myself knew. Then I found out about the side effects on the news. I'd rather have zits the to kill myself so I stopped taking that shit and I've been fine ever since.
@RedTailedTuna Okay.. Well, your doctor should have discussed side-effects with you and you should have read the information pamphlet that the pharmacy gave you when you got your medicine. Ignorance.
@ChicaBonita5215 the pharmacy gave me no pamphlet bitch. You think any intelligent individual would put something in their body that causes even half the side effects that shit does. And yes the doctor should of discussed the side-effects but he didn't and to many of those so called doctors never do which result in drastic consequences
@RedTailedTuna Calm down, you piece of shit. The regulation changes between now and then are huge. Doctors are a lot more careful in regards to prescribing it, giving information, and how the patient is monitored throughout the cycle. If you experience any depression or suicide thoughts you'll be taken off it.
I took Accutane and the worst side effects I had were dry skin and lips and I don't regret it at all. Just because it wasn't right for you doesn't mean it isn't worth it to other people.

@iorify actually, accutane is a product that is taken for scarring from zits, and after having it for five years like Cathutane, i bet you she had scarring that the product is taken/taking away. also, accutane it a product that your dermatologist proscribes, if they didnt think her acne was bad enough then they would not have put her on it.

I went to the Doc. the other day and he gave ma a prescription of Roaccutane right away and I'm not a severe case of acne he was highly recommending it, I still haven't started taking it though. I'm a bit scared, there's no telling what will happen to my body in the future also it causes depression and they say I'm a depressed person anyway, also smoking pot can sometimes trigger depression, now imagine all of the three combined. = ?
@iorify actually, accutane can be taken even if you do not have severe acne, if you do not have severe acne you have you try every other acne treatment and if nothing else works, then you will be able to get it. and it is also used for other things than just acne.
@iorify acne is awful. period. It doesn't matter how severe. If all else fails (and this girl tried EVERYTHING. I watched her videos) accutane is the best bet. I'm confident she knew what she was getting herself into by taking this medication.

Your skin was not severe enough to take accutane. Accutane is for REAL severe case of acne.. but looks good now anyways!
