Bottom line: "Race" ultimately doesn't matter; good genetics lies in every race.

@rodslinger37 That was in 2006. Pele hadn't been really a relevant fighter for a few years by then. He was in an era when MMA wasn't really a sport. He was what Anderson was to the modern world, but back in the late 90 and early millennium. He had fought since he was like a teenager, by the time he hit his late 20s his body had taken a toll. Know your history son before you start talking trash about a legend.

ROFL cry all you want, HE GOT OWNED!!! If you have ever fought in your life all it takes is 1 hit to throw your whole balance, and the moment you receive a barrage you can't recuperate. Wow...I grew up watching Jose Pele, way back in 97, his epic fights in Brasil, macaco, even my friends from back then that don't follow MMA all used to sing praises of Pele...WTF happened, I love Pele but he needs to retire, he's losing to a lot of up/comers.
