@BloodAngelKiller73 Torque doesn't really count for speed. It's the horsepower that does it. Torque is pulling power, so it's more effective in pulling and towing stuff. Think about it, a McLaren F1 has 627 horsepower and 651 N.m of torque whereas the Corvette ZR1 has 638 horsepower 819 N.m of torque. But the McLaren F1 does 387 km/h whereas the Corvette ZR1 does 330 km/h.

@rvind92g - HP is a number derived from TQ. HP = How much work an engine can do. TQ x RPM / 5252. TQ is all there is, HP is nothing more than a calculation of work over time. HP doesn't "do" anything per se.

@ThriftyCougar Hey, brightspark. Do you really think I'd put a comment like that if I didn't have a clue about engines? The V8 is deeper because it has less cylinders, with a fatter bore and a longer stroke, (making fewer, but bigger detonations). V10 has more detonations with cylinders having shorter stroke and smaller bore per cylinder. V10 also revs like twice as high as the V8. Also the exhaust system plays a role. You probably one of these cunts I was talking about.

@IssaBendeck1 "__" your kidding right? the reason why the European car sounds like a 'ninja motorcycle' is because it is a V10 and not a V8.(all V8's have a low sounding evil engine) and I will let you know that cars like an Audi R8 (European no doubt) have a very evil low sounding V8 engine aswell. it also has to do with the displacement. oh and the Ford GT has a MPG of a horse. it has range of 221 miles. the Carrera has a range of 238 miles. Oh also, the Ford has a low reliability rating.

I know alot of you might disagree but it didn't seem like the Ford GT had a chance in hell in vocal comparison. I prefer a vehicle with a special engine and sound like the Carrera GT. The Ford GT has the same motor and sound as a Ford pickup/F-150 Lightning. The only vehicle companies that can produce engines with equivalent vocals are Lamborghini, Ferrari, Pagani/Mercedes, McLaren, Koenigsegg (yes, I know their motor is based on a Ford block), and BMW.. them and some rotaries ive heard lately.
