  • i guess we would hear the difference better if you play clean

  • Where is the moustache? :D

  • When recording audio, the autolevel should always be off. Set the recording level to whatever max level you are going to play with a couple of dB's margin. That's what i read in the latest Guitarworld or maybe it was another magazine. It's a good idea i think, because the audio didnt make the guitar justice ;) Thanks for showing it! I've been fantasizing about it for a long time at warmoth.

  • This is much better than the original.

  • yes dude great idea with the toronado bridge :D

  • Nice! But why do you play the guitar with such an afwul distortion? Just play it clean man so that we can hear the real difference between the humbucker and the single coil. Nevertheless it's a great copy and you did a formidable job!

  • sounds like a tele on the single coil position very cool!

  • Along with the strat, the Swinger is the coolest body shape ever!

And the guitar in this vid is amazing. Imagine the tonal options of that blendy knob thing :-)

I was gonna do a swinger project using Warmoth parts. Pearloid guard and Graffit Yellow finish.

But it was just going to cost me waaaay more than I could justify spending.

  • hey i have a real fender swinger from 69 and i have the case, srap, and amp that came with it . how much do you thing i could get for it?

  • Lots.

Considering there are supposedly only about 300 of them in the world!

  • @mkaytoday are you sure?!?!? thats crazy man.. call yourself rich..

  • nice build

  • Great guitar, sounds super cool.

I was wondering (if you personally built it) where you got a template, or how you made one. I'm looking to build a variation of a swinger myself.

  • The body and pickguard were made from a tracing of a Swinger by NOHO guitars. Warmoth offers bodies too, but they look a little 'off' to me.

  • @rodvonbon

So, where can I buy one of these Spin o Splits?

  • @fanofthemusic1090 Spin-o-splits are just a way to wire a potentiometer. Instead of taping off the red and white wires of the 4 conductor cable, you put them on the middle prong of the potentiometer. You can find a diagram on the internet, I'm sure.

  • that sounds like 2 humbuckers and not one single coil

    omg

  • hey i really dig the arrow. ive been actually itching to make one myself but havent had the time. do you have any advice on types of single coils i could put in it? or if i should stick with the regular arrow pickguard or go with a mustang pickguard...

  • Any Mustang type pickup will work fine. I know some people dig Seymour Ducan Antiquities. My guitar is just based on the Arrow so I had a few things switched around on it, one being the location of the pickup and doing the whole hotrail split thing. A mustang pick guard will not fit since the body is from a Fender Bass V not a guitar. I had another pick guard made for mine that is more of a Broco style too. I should also say that this is NOT a Warmoth body either. Hope this helps.

  • thanks Ludger. I need to come up with some more ideas for new vids.

  • I am enjoying your videos. Keep 'em coming.
