this isn't really relevant but i wanted to throw out there about the white witch's costume. her dress was supposed to reflect her mood and get progressively darker so that by the stone table scene, she was midnight blue. also, the huge ice crown was supposed to melt as she lost her power and by the stone table, it's completely gone and in the battle she came in wearing aslan's fur like a false prophet and she had to make a crown(shaped like a lion-also false prophety). i liked it personally.
I disagree... I personally like Susan fighting. But then again, I'm not a book purist.
I also think that she DID look more focused then "action heroey" especially because of the curl on her lip. That's a very natural, focus-type-thing to do.
awseome i just watchs videos 1 all the way through to ur newest i understand it all now. lol #12s my favorite... id ont know wat to say to end this vid theres just no.....WOOO lol
I was going back and looking at the first blogs you put out, and I was shocked at how much you have improved! You're first ones were good, but now they are awesome!
As for the whole Susan fighting issue, I'm not gonna judge Anna Popplewell's performance until I actually see her act in this one. But you are right. I hope she doesn't have a kick-butt attitude. But if she does have an attitude, it'll be Markus and McFeely's fault for changing her character. It's like with Emma Watson as Hermione. I don't think it was her fault, it was Kloves' fault. XD She did a great job as Susan in LWW, anyway.
I disagree. The screenwriters lay the blueprint for the movie, but it's the job of the director to interpret the screenplay. Anna, as well as all the other actors, are directed by Adamson.
I usually don't agree 100% with your analysis, but I do this time. You couldn't have said it better on every point. I'm hoping Susan's character won't be the "Girl Power" cliche that has been popular in movies these days.
I am addicted to your video blogs, man. I think I've added them all to my favorites. XD But, hey, please don't kill me! I'm not a stalker!! I promise! ^_^
I was hoping a new trailer would be out in March, just because...because. *g* Yeah, "Susolas" doesn't impress me either...LOVE the new shot of the treasure chamber and them running along the beach. Skandar's giving Will a little push. Also love the new NightRaid shots.
I get your point about Susan. (Or, as I call her, Su-Xena.) In keeping with her overall character, she shouldn't be all rough and tough. She's not Xena, she's not Legolas, she's not even Eowyn or (God forbid) Arwen. She's Queen Susan the Gentle, who, yes, I could see her defending herself if need be.
And even if you stop video blogging about the new movies, find something else Narnian to do with this channel. You're just too good!

Indeed, Glumpuddle, they have butchered Susan's character; I agree with you. She's not queen Susan the badass, she's queen Susan the gentle!
