Here is what I am really getting at. Before the Europeans got here, this place was none power in terms of weapons and other technology. (Incas dissapered) The Mayans beforehand, and the Azetecs especially were about the other advanced form of civilzation. However, the Azetecs were extreme imperialists and got beat at their own game. The Europeans have built the US and Canada to its first world status. They didn't steal it from natives. 10% died by European weapons.

In never denied any of that. However, the Azetecs did have tech but died for the reasons you named. Only around 10% of the Natives that died, died to European warfare. The rest was the diseases and other causes. The point is the US and Canada are economicly rich today and the countries or part of them should not be given over to people whose ancestors and themselves have not helped to create. Europeans turned North America into a tech, economic, and military power.
