  • no firetrucks following?

  • I bet that woke you up.

  • The wing design looks like a 747-300 rather than a 777.

  • @EmadIV I don't think so. 747 has triple layered flaps. also the shape of inner aileron is different.

  • @Transfusions

I know about this landing and it is a 777-200ER, just looked weird at first. This is a hydraulic failure, possibly due to bad maintenance. The confusing thing is that SV kept quiet. If it were CX or EK they would have announced it as they did with their previous incidents.

  • penis erected...

  • nicely done. good job !!!

  • perfect landing.

  • This 747 -368

  • @infinitti555

    I think so too.

  • OmG i'd piss my pants if i was there

  • It looks like a speed brake went all Chuck Norris on the wing.

  • That is some crash...

  • Great that you survived Buddy !

  • Crash landing? Looked like a pretty darned good landing to me! Anybody killed or injured? No? Then that's not a "crash landing," it's just a landing.

  • @DDunker51. agreed. capt. sully couldn't have done better

  • the least they could do is clap for the pilots, jeez these passengers really showed a lack of appreciation that they are still alive...

  • @The88Mason i know but theyre stupid primative roaches.they dont know.

  • very interesting! does anybody know what's probably be

  • TYPICAL! ARABS! Surprised the pilots didn't want to kill you all.

  • How did a terrorist put a bomb there in the 1st place?

  • uppssssss

  • even if it wasnt an actual crash landing, i would still shit my pants 10 fold...

  • So, how did this happen?

  • Saudi Arabia is one of our best allies in the Middle East.

They have enormous investment in the U.S. economy because

they plow oil money we spend with them back into our economy.

Don't forget (including you who cannot spell Iraq) that it was the

Saudi government that said very early on during the uprisings in

Tunisia, Egypt and especially Libya they they would guarantee

oil flow and stable prices. The airlines in Saudi Arabia buy enormous

numbers of Boeing planes and now Airbus too.

  • @BrokebackBob How does Saudi Arabia plow oil $ back into the US economy? I'm glad to see that the Saudi government guaranteed stable oil prices! Did anyone get that in writing? Every airline buys large (non regional) jets from Boeing and/or Airbus as they are the only 2 companies that make them! You do know that Airbus is not an American company and every plane they sell is a sale lost for Boeing, who happens to be the largest US exporter!

  • reading the mixed comments here is quite sad. Some that stick out refer to arabs in a racist way, others refer to the airline. How are you to judge like this? I am an extrmely qualified person to talk about airlines having flown with the best and worst. Go and do some fact finding first. are they in the worst rated airlines by the NTSB? nope. enough said, as for racism. i guess we will never lose this sad attitude.

  • Germany never gave up the fight for world control. With the US stuck in Afghanistan and Irak wasting its wealth making new enemies, Germany made a large leap forward. Having lost two open wars to become the dominating power on earth, Germany reverted to the tactics used before 1914 and between1918-1939: Infiltrating other countries with snitchers, manipulating them and draw as much wealth as possible from these victims of German greed. My brother Markus Bott was murdered because of our homepage

  • There has only been one crash landing of a 777, and this is not it, just some damage to the wing,

  • فين حصلت الكارثه ذي وماسمعنا فيها ابددددددددددددددددد

  • CRAP airline!

  • jibba jabba

  • Well, what did you expect? They use to drive CAMELS...

  • @carlosmurphy4u

And you used to drive what ?? .... the different between Arabs and the people like you that Arabs have history and you ? you are a result to fault of two persons who always regret what they did !

  • did you survive? :L

  • was there a strange looking gremlin out on the wing? ;o)

  • This is fuel

  • what a seen

  • A crash landing is when you can't upload to youtube, because your dead... :)

  • @1967beatlesfan

Not necessarily dead. You, for instance, may be the sole survivor!

  • Comment removed

  • @1967beatlesfan the cops can upload the video for the deads =)

  • raghead airlines? you know what your a son of bitch...... :) and what an amazing joke

72 virgins hahahahcyou dum fuck if you dont know what or who your talikg about just shut up and go read some books and get educated .

  • @ghaith24 In the spirit of friendliness, I'm only going to point-out one of your spelling errors. "dum fuck" is actually spelled d-u-m-b-f-u-c-k.

  • why arent they evacuating the plane as fast as they should in such circumstances where the fuel is leaking and theres all possibility of a fire?..i think they should have done the emergency drill of evacuating the passengers as soon as they landed..

  • wow, stay away from raghead airlines if you dont' want to go meet your 72 virgins.

  • Do you mean SV?? SA is South African Airways~~

  • @billlmf yeah, SV

  • im goin on holiday next week thanks for the vid lol

  • The terrorist, I knew it!!

  • @xarlz159 if it was terrorist the there would be no wing.

  • what is that thing on the wing

  • @shamk9 a hole

  • @yoyoyoyoshua oh how was it caused

  • @shamk9 hydraulic motor probelly blew up.

  • @yoyoyoyoshua Don't think so m8... The hydraulic pump is mounted on the underside of the engine. this looks like an unconfined engine failure.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @SparkyTMA ok then could it have been the motor for the spoilers.

  • Comment removed

  • @yoyoyoyoshua It could've been the spoilers actuator alright... but i'm not sure... the video has very low resolution to se what is in the damaged surface... Cheers!

  • should have prayed to allah to blow it up

  • flap track damage ?

  • It was not emergecy landing.

  • That is soo close to the hydraulic lines to operate the flaps and the aileron.

  • okey alot of ppl are saying its bird hit or wing damage or tyre burst...

but the weather seems fine, and the landing gear would have been retracted at 900m... and a bird strike would cause damage to leading edge...

i am an aircraft engineer, and my suggestion is that the pilot might have lowered the flaps at higher speeds than allowed. that might have caused excessive stress on flaps and cause it to break away.

i know saudi arabian airlines is good and its a good aircraft as well

  • i guess its a bird hit

  • omg thank god nothing bad happened, I'd be pretty scared. ok if these machines depend on wind for mobility and wind can do this to them, woah. I mean I know there have been disasters in the past because of powerful winds, but I never knew that wind itself could damage the infrastructure on an aircraft.

  • The damage just from my 30 seconds of looking at it would indicate "impact" damage. It looks like a tire blew out on takeoff and a shredded piece of tire went straight up and into the wing or the plane hit an object on the runway (Concord crash) and threw it up into the wing.

  • 1st of all its not the piolt fault its the airplane and btw its an arab company cuz i can hear the sound from the back ground

  • Wow !

  • man, a real emergency landing filmed, you know when you look at it on tv or a video you know, but nothing comes close to bieng there in your shoes, you know what im saying, it must have been a scary experience, even thought the 777 is one of the most safest planes out there.

  • @qwertyguy76 anything can happen even if it is the most safest aircraft or airlines...you never know

  • @qwertyguy76 And the 777 is still one of the most safest planes out there. No deaths related to crashes and only one hull loss in it's 16 years of service.

  • Woa...good think there are redudant backup systems!

    Check out my videos!

  • Strange incident. Thing is though, whenever an Airbus crashes or has some problem I see a lot of comments from you yanks lambasting this company, how fly-by-wire is not reliable, how you'd never enter an airbus, etc.. Yet, when Boeing has a problem it's never the company's fault, someone else is to blame, mostly the pilots or the maintenance guys. How about some coherence?

  • Fuchizaa,

I agree with you. We see people from the US bashing Airbus and even more bashing Russian planes but fact is that by far the most unnecessary crashes caused by structural failures caused by design flaws have occured with US build planes. What other plane looses doors, engines, elevator bolts and even wings than a US build plane?? I think this happened many times only with US build planes.

  • @ILTUSU Dude, it's maintenance, like i mean, I remember a Douglas aircraft operated by PARTNAIR(now defunct) that lost its eleveator or something due to them using faulty parts that were NOT reconized by Douglas nor the FAA.

  • @ILTUSU,

The design flaws i pointed out have nothing to do with maintenence. These flaws were already there when the planes got build and rolled away from assembly line.

  • @ garlex134 that is.

  • @Fuchizaa AGREED!

  • Airbuses don't have that problem; they just like crashing in rivers and oceans. I'll fly on a defective Boeing anyday before I fly on a good Airbus.

Or wait...considering the water issue, shouldn't that be "Airsub"?

  • LOL

  • russian airplanes crash all the time because the people that operate them are a bunch of uneducated drunks that just dont give a shit.

  • Thats pretty bad that. I would say that it was caused from when the flaps were extended or when the landing gear was deployed. Hydraulic leak is an issue but its happened before to different aircraft which has sadly lost lives but has improved systems. Each system on the aircraft which is powered by hydraulics does not just have one dedicated line but quite a few so that if one fails then there is always a backup. This is an emergency, not a life threatening situation.

  • as i said b4 in the description you said hydraulic fuel draining...u cood of dies u no when it drains it cant be controlled 0_0

  • Triple 7, baby, Triple 7! Airbus, eat your pitot tubes out.

  • Kevinessequamvideri,

Why are you bragging about the Boeing 777 when this could have caused a disaster?

Don't you think that structural faults with Boeings have caused enough crashes?

  • what for it "A380 crash" 850 people dead

  • myrandomspaces,

Let us hope that never happens for real.

    Only with RC A-380

  • i believe he is bragging because the 777 is a very nice plane, structural faults in boeings? and what? not airbus? youve never worked on airbus or boeing i take it? the new 380 has a massive amount of problems atm, just general public never hears about it, they call it the airbus 180 atm, after 1 flight something has gone wrong with it again ;)

  • jv180sx,

The 777 is a nice plane but there are more. I'll be flying on a 777 next summer. When you look at accidents that have happened trough decades you find accidents that were caused by structural failures. It's Boeing and/or MD that have lost doors, lost engines, lost tail, broken bolts in rudder, roof peeled off like a sardine can, blow outs.

I don't know if this has happened with Airbus. Certainly not with Russian planes. They are the strongest when it comes to structural integrity.

  • i understand in a way what you mean, but, when you look at the stats, the only boeing that rates worse than the airbus is the 747, if you look at how much boeing has crashed compared to airbus, sure its greater, but then again they have done 10times the amount of flights as airbus, wasnt the roof peeling off a de Havilland comet?

  • jv180sx,

I'm not saying that Boeing isn't safe. They have become safer and safer through the years.

But accidents have happened because of unnecessary structural failures in Boeings and MD planes. Wrong adhesives, faulty bolts, weak doors, wrong insulation materials, several blow outs and stubborn leadership.

The roof peeling happened on a 737.

The earlier Comets broke apart in mid air because of metal fatique. Main cause were the square windows because of the sharp corners in the metal.

  • @ILTUSU The 737 accident was due to poor maintenance, which was not within Boeing's control. Also, russian aircraft also happen to be more dangerous beacuse even though they might of had less crashes, a lot lesss of them were made. So if a B737 aircraft crashed, it would still be an extremley safe aircraft because there are so many of them flying, but if a plane that has had less flight but crashed, it would make it one of the MOST dangerous aircraft out there.

  • garlex134,

Sure 737 accidents have happened due to poor maintenance but many crashes of Boeing and MD planes happened also due to structural faults that had nothing to do with poor maintenance. These crashes were caused by design faults. I'm not saying that they are unsafe but faults like this should not happen at all. No matter how many planes are build.

  • Dude, design faults were from YEARS ago, and I'm pretty sure that Ilyshin, Tupolev also had MANY design faults.

  • garlex134,

Russian build planes are structurally the strongest around. Russian planes dont loose their engines or loose their doors. US build planes have done that a lot.

  • garlex134,

I already posted that the structural quality has improved in a earlier post. But when we look at this video we see something that is structural. The 777 is the strongest build Boeing passenger plane but this could have been disasterous at high altitude.

  • garlex134,

"The 737 accident was due to poor maintenance, which was not within Boeing's control."

Not only because that 737 was old. But investigation also found out that wrong adhesives played a part in this.

  • Look, we have different views, I don't wanna go on with this. Good day.

  • garlex134,

I general we have to same view. We agree many crashes are caused by bad maintenance.

We only disagree on the FACT that Boeings and MD planes have shown many structural failures due to design flaws that resulted in crashes and the loss of many lives.

And these crashes were totally unaccesarry.

IF Boeing and MD had done their work properly these lives would not have been lost.

  • then how come russia has the most airplane crashes

  • Airplanepilot10,

Russia has the most airplane crashes??

    Show me please.

  • Airplanepilot10,

By far the most crashes caused by unnecessary structural failures were with US build planes.

Have you ever heard of Russian planes or Airbus planes losing doors, engines or tails?

  • Let me say that russain pilots have some of the most crashes

  • @Airplanepilot10,

Some of the most crashes?? That means that the majority of the most crashes are from non Russian pilots.

  • Never mind

  • @Airplanepilot10,

    LOL!! ;-)

  • Scroll down to the worst mid air plane collision pt1

  • @Airplanepilot10,

I know that episode. In fact i watched it again today on NGC. Many aircrash investigation episodes were om NGC today.

  • actually they have the smoothest landings on proper new airplanes. dunno about old ones...

  • i agree boeing sucks i always have bad experiences with them and i take the plane at least 6 times a year.

  • @ILTUSU Yea, airbus lost 2 engines and 1 vertical stasbilizer in one flight on an American Airlines A310 or A300, I fotgot, btu something like that.

  • garlex134,

That's indeed rare. I never heard of Airbus loosing parts.

  • It is rare, but it has happened before, so did russian aircraft.

  • @ILTUSU Makybe because russian aircraft use concrete, that's why there so strong ;), just joking.

  • garlex134,

    LOL!!!

I think that it has more to do with deadlines and cost saving. Cutting corners so to speak. I'm glad that during the last years many design faults have been tackled with Boeing planes.

  • did you expect the wing to explode? did it scare you? I would've pooped my pants.

  • me too

  • That's not a crash-landing, it's a perfectly standard landing

  • they should just say emergency landing

  • @mobileboxuk yes so what is this normaly i think not, with you'r standard landing

  • Again you see that everywhere in the World, Pilots get a lot of Training to pass such Situations!

  • ... and then to top things off... some moron yelled "ALLAH ADMIRAL AKBAR!" and blew the plane up!

  • lolololololololo!

  • republican!

  • Conservative actually... but thanks!

  • The outboard end of the reaction link came up throught the wing panel when the gear was selected down. This was caused by a broken bolt(doubtful) or the bolt was not properly saftied(most likely). the side brace and drag brace locked or there would have been more trouble. Check and recheck your work!

  • holy shit if the hydraulic line was cut while in the air you would be dead because thats how that 747 crashed that killed over 500 people

  • I thought I knew it all when it comes to the 777 but this has me baffled. Looks like a pin broke out of the wing support, sending the support up thru the wing. Minor incident on final, nightmare at 45K ft.

  • This is your captain speaking thank you for flying Saudi Airlines and we hope to see you soon.

  • They should pray to Allah.

  • Allah doesnt exist. Neither does god.

  • Nor do you.

  • Go play some computer games and leave the flying to the real pilots.

  • allah and god are the same person you stupid dumb fag. Republican dog

  • I am not saying that allah or god doesnt exist I just say that Religion after all has not created anything but war. I believe that there are some kind of powerful force out there but not that the muslims have one god, the christs have one and so on. That just makes me pissed of because that is just fucking starting wars!

  • of course your right. religion has been the root of all wars and religion have gotten many innocent people killed. yes i agree but i don't go criticizing or talking shit about peoples choice of religion. that is their personal choice and in all religions we will find fanatics committing crimes in the name of God.

  • Dude, you must have some balls to video this instead of grabing the chair arms and praying..

  • he was lol thats y the recording is when hes on the ground cuz hes safe there...or is he

  • Holy fuck, scary. I was on an md-80 and the fuel door on the starboard wing started to leak fuel in flight. It got progressively worse until I could see a mist flying out of the fuel door. I told the pilot after landing, and he was like oh, yeah, I know about that. Then FUCKING FIX IT!! You have peoples lives at risk Delta!!!

  • Well actually it was probably an " emergency " landing and the pilot needed to dump the fuel. Thats probably why he didn't said much about it. If they know theres a problem, they fix it. Their not that stupid !

  • how did it happen , looks like some fluid leaking out too , pretty scary.

  • omg. (O_o) (o_O)

  • that would've scared the sh*t out of me. why did the plane continue to taxi? I would've expected the plane to stop and fire trucks and emergency vehicles rushing to it.

  • haha. yeah i dont get th@ either. i think i would have s**t my pants!

  • Ummm, that WOULD NOT give me a very comfortable feeling looking out my window and seeing that. Holy crap! Glad they landed safely and everyone walked away!

  • wow! it seem real video to me! It was so scary! :(

  • Trust me - it was a 777 - I was on board!!!

Nice that you think it is just a "gear thing" - what are you? somekind of airplane specialist? how do you know this happend the first time? these things dont make the news usually ... but this happend many times.

  • no thats ture its saudia airlines B777-200 and its not a crach landing its the main gear that happend before touchdown when the gear extended was someproblem with the gear thing and it happend first times

  • Cant be too damaged if the spoilers auto-deployed successfully. Technically this is an emergency landing, not a crash landing.

  • the announcements clarify that its a saudi airline plane...and i recognize it clearly because im a frequent flier on saudi arabian airlines and have flied with it for 37 times...!!

  • i swaer to god that all of u are stupids !!! how did u know if its saudi airlines or other airlines !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • simple: I was on the plane! and you can listen to the announcements over the PA system.

  • Comment removed

  • Doesn´t semm to me like a fake...

  • That's because it is not fake......

  • there was a bang in this pranksters head...idiot

  • Its a Flap Problem?

  • LOL! LMAO!

  • Good one :P

  • thats...different

  • how hi were u when it got fucked i mean damaged

  • it is actually an emergency landing, not a crash landing mate

  • If I was sitting there I would have said:

"Everybody make a run for it...were all gonna die!"

  • That would scare the shit out of me if i was in your seat

  • alla kareeeeem

    shajir abbas

  • That thing you see sticking up through the wing is the top of the landing gear. He hit hard enough to damage the walking beam and you can see the top of the actuator boss sticking up through the composite panel. Someones getting fired!

  • But it's sticking up before the plane even lands, so its not from a hard landing because the plane doesn't land until 00:15 and the actuator boss is sticking up before that

  • I believe you are right, gotta watch it a few more times

  • reading the desc helps: "just a few minutes before landing at 900 m altitude." is that the touchdown? Not really. You can even see the touchdown and that thing is there before anyway.
