So glad this has been posted on YouTube -- I've been trying to see this documentary ever since its Oscar win. I've just made my donation to "Smile Train", as should everyone who watches and enjoys this brilliant film. Thank you, Megan Mylan for making it.
Imagine how a A 45-minute surgery transports a child from despair to delight; and anxiety to ecstasy. From being an object of curiosity, the child gets seamlessly assimilated and accepted in his play group. In short, it is a transformation from a life of ridicule to a life of hope and happiness ever after.
THANK YOU so much for posting this. I cried and cried and cried (sad tears, happy tears) ... and made a donation to Smile Train. This is truly God's work. Absolutely beautiful. THANK YOU and God bless all of these folks.
@fieryred70 I like how it's God's work that she got fixed up but ignore the fact that it was God's work that got her where she was in the first place.
While a heartwarming cinderella story, it's sad that she wouldn't be accepted as she is in the first place.

Heart warming. My class watched this and my teacher cried because her son was born with a cleft palate. Pray for those children.

@chemosh6969 Like a circle, as life and death itself, or love and hate, for that matter.
