My best friend listens to Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, 3oh!3, and people like that, but I hate all of them. The bands I listen to were apparently popular with people my age years ago, but I didn't care then and don't care now. Taste in music depends on what you like, and what you like depends on you.

All music can generally be traced back to simplistic crap. Everyone says Justin Bieber's song Baby is such crap and while i'm 27 and agree, it's no different than Mmmbop by Hanson was when i was 16 or 15. It was all mumbling. But at least in the 90's we sang and didn't rely fully on Auto Tune, granted we might have sang crapily, but at least we sang. And we rocked the instruments... Today not so much.
