Alpha DK starting armor. It was changed to something somewhat more original later. This was also before DKs got their own background and custom features like skin, faces, and hair colors. The DK starting armor here later became Northrend quest gear. Also, in the alpha, there wasn't a finished starting experience for the DKs, and you started your DK on the border of Eastern and Western Plaguelands, and your first quest was to obtain your mount, which was bugged. This is ALPHA, which means that they are still testing the new expansion (Wrath of the Lich King in this case). In this version most of the game features are not yet released. In this case, the logo was still 'The Burning Crusade' as the WOTLK one was still under development.

I gotta agree, the Alpha Death Knight armor looks pretty awesome. The retail one looks a bit cool, but compared with this one, it's nothing.

this is real. This is what the game menu was like in the early stage of development of wrath. They didnt implement the logo and description changes untill much later in the beta phases.

Just google wrath of the the lich king friends and family alpha and youll see this very much real.

@captinpoopy111 tauren or orc. Undead really isnt a DK race, the fear/charm/sleep racial is a skill in the frost spec which most pvp spec's go into. You dont need canniblize as your leveling because you really dont need any heals if your blood leveling spec. Cow for the +5% exp and War Stomp, Orc for the Enrage and the -15% Stun and Fear duration.
