I would take the 135i with the M package. I love the M cars but they are a pain to own. Higher insurance and crazy matinence Costs. The E46 M3 need like 10w 60 for oil. Unless you have the car under warrantee M car are expensive to own.

135 will hang and maybe even beat the M3 in a short drag depending on the M3 driver. You'll get a lot of wheelspin with the M3, so it depends on how the driver corrals the car on takeoff. Longer drag the M3 should win every time. The zipperhead driving the M3 doesn't know how to shift either.

Does not matter. M3 is a V8 with high-revving engine. M3 consistently beats the 135 in a 1/4 mile every single time. I know it because I have two friends with these cars and after the first 50 feet, the M3 r*pes the stock 135 every single time.

A stock 135 runs 13.4 - 13.5 secs while an M3 runs 12.6 - 12.7.

M3 makes 120 HP more and has much shorter and aggressive gearing. The 150 lbs weight difference means nothing.

Thats because horsepower doesn't mean anything in terms of acceleration. It is just energy per unit of time. Torque is the force, both develops the same amount (400Nm). There are ofc also other factors to take into account like gear ratios, losses in the transmission, the torque/power curves etc...

A chipped 135i is slower than an m3? haha ah I dont think so. A 135i with Vishnu V3, can do mid to low 12 second 1/4s with nothing else... chuck on an intake , and downpipes and it will do very low 12s.. high 11s with Drag Radials... an M3 for the most part will do somewhere between 12.8 and 13.2 seconds over the 1/4 mile... it will dyno 400bhp and over 400lbs-ft at the rear wheels.

The only one who knows nothing is you... you can barely speak English. An E92 is atleast half a second quicker than a 135i through the 1/4 mile. In M-Dynamic mode the cars diff and TC aid make full bore launches easy and controlled. Being an owner of both 335i v2 vishnu, and an e92 m3 ( The V2 does a 12.75 1/4 vs my best time of 12.60 in the m3) I think I know a thing or two. Perhaps you should check out M5boards rolling runs on here, the m3 pummells the 135 from 30-155mph (20 cl)
