Fake: Total Virus Protection

A my friend installed a fake antivirus, and it was actually interesting. Hard disk hided,Control Panel unreachable, adds to the dates a virus alert, changes your wallpaper,many popups to other fake antiviruses..lot of nice stuff, it made me smile.

I solved it formatting his pc. :)

Form of identity theft. What threw up a RED FLAG was the fact I never heard of TOTAL VIRUS PROTECTION. Yes, we as consumers have to careful out there because there are many companies who sale software online and they're not legitimate.

You should also beware of the "free download" software that supposedly removes this program... It looks equally suspicious.

Thanks to the video. I would recommend people if they want to put a virus protection on their computer, do some research on a program or software, or just go to a store yourself because i think almost all stores wont carry a virus software.
