its amazing how you grow so much, and learn SO much about yourself; so much more about the people that sorround and love you; it makes youso much closer to some people, and nurtures some relations that you never thought you would maintain after coming out.
It is amazingly rewarding.

I've watched your first two videos and I think that they should be used as classroom material for junior high. It's unfortunate, however, that so many parents would then try to sue their school board. I am puzzled that with the Internet and today's t.v. that a person who is in-the-closet can still believe that they are alone! I came out 11 years before you (same age, 18) but things were a lot different in 1995.

I found you and am ironically seeking to be a sourse of help for more then just those close to me....I am at the present making a blogger pg to do just that. So glad to hear that you are getting involved in things at College. Be yourself, be strong, be happy and keep educating your parents, they will thank you for it in the end when they truly understand that you are just the Chris that they have always loved.

I can only say that it has not always been easy being gay but I have created the best life for me and my family and I am proud, as are my parents, of the person I grew up to be. I will be 45 and listening to your story makes it feel like I just came out yesterday. I would like to say to you and other young and not so young people struggling with coming out that as you learn to accept and most importantly love yourself, your life will get better beacause u will realize that you desrve to be happy and whole.
Hey I really admire you. Its true you think of the bad stuff that might happen if you come out that you get too scared to do anything. You dont' know what happens if you don't try and trust them.

Totally agree
I think the old saying,
"Whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger" really applies to coming out.
While it is a difficult process, you are so much better off for it.

Your mom loves you, it will just take time for her to realize that that's all that should matter
