@dreamweaver961 actually alot of farmhand animals are now placed into CO2 tanks so they basically fall asleep except they never wake up but it is painless but i also agree with you that it is fast for the lobster and that both taste great and also when i get hungry something is going to die for me to eat it and stay alive

@dreamweaver961 yeah that is very cruel in my opinion, I live in Canada and i used to work at a factory and they used CO2 tanks, it was basically all pigs in our factory and they all didn't feel a thing besides a prod or two if they weren't going into the tanks on their own, and i only seen a few that had to be shot with nail guns behind the ear so they still don't feel any pain due to the fact that's where their brain is, they want the animals to be stressfree as possible for good quality meats

@jomomwashere In Australia they're transported in a frigid environment to restaurants/point of sale where they go to sleep, therefore they're (hopefully) cooked before they wake up. Same goes for crabs. The chilling process may still involve some suffering but ANYTHING would be better then being boiled alive.

It could be a number of things, the tomale (liver) could have spread through the meat if the chef was clumsy in preparation.

Otherwise I guess I am not understanding what you are saying. The actual meat was green? It could be a result of the lobster's diet.

You want to keep it alive until you cook it, but it in the freezer for 15 min to put them to sleep, flip them under-belly up, stick the knife in between their legs and cut right through the middle of their head and then throw them in the boiling water. They will still twitch, but they are dead, they can't feel anything.
