Seems that men's opinions seem to always be that if it's BIG then it has to be of satan and only if it's small and well contained and doesnt' shake up your faith then yep that's GOD. Weird how the human psyche works.
Like a hypnotic mantra... this is to empty their minds. And this is most dangerous! The real Lord set up our Mind to make free decisions AND with it we can say no to demons! But if its empty, those demons can get into our hearts! Our mind is the protection instance of our heart! watch this!
@cozmicgravy I gotta tell ya. I know where you're coming from. I understand your point of view. I'm familiar with demons, cast demons out of before, read Frank Hammond's "Pig's in a Parlor". But real encounters with the Spirit of the Living God are not limited to tongues. I believe this is a supernatural manifestation of God's presence. For example, the Holy Spirit has moved in my church in a manner that caused an entire section to simealtaneously fall out in laughter. God's Spirit is real!

i used to think that this stuff was crazy and not of God too..but i went on a youth conference and our van broke down and we got stuck in a random town and had to stay in a crappy hotel..and that night, in that crappy hotel my friends and i were praying for another friend..and then when she prayed, we all started uncontrolably sobbin, and then we fell over and couldnt stand up cause we were laughing so hard..the joy of the Lord was on us for sure. its God.but you have to use discernment for this
its really beautifal. what is going on with the people inside when they are touched like that? some of them look in pain - is it because they are realizing their sins and being delivered?
@makemestarlit1 I would not describe it as pain. For me it is more of a state of awe and gratitude. There is a clear perception of His Holiness in contract to our sinfulness. The beauty of His sacrifice overwhelms my senses.
First, We cannot Hear anyone speaking. The Greek word in the New Testament for SPEAK(means to Speak, Sing, Pray, Laugh or Groan?)This Word is used in Mark 16 and 1 Cor 14 when used with New Tongues.
Why did God Make them fall to the Floor?
Why did Jesus Make the band of men and officers from the chief priests Fall to the ground when he spoke,I am He,In John 18?
Why did the Priests in 2 Chron 5 not be able to stand when the Presence of the Lord entered the Temple?
@sky, In John 18, the guards falling to the ground, was the equalivant to God calling down fire from Heaven. Just as Elijah called down fire from Heaven, and destroyed the 450 False Prophets of Baal.
The Lord was showing that the guards had NO power to seize the Lord, but that is was the Lord's intention to surrender to them, to fulfill His mission. The Lord could have easily destroyed the guards.
The Bible tells us signs & wonders is demonic. Someone of your training should know better.
Talking in tongues, and falling over backwards, etc, are acts of satan, NOT the Lord, Jesus Christ. Once the Bible was completed in about 95 AD, there was no such utterence from the Spirit by way of visions, dreams, or tongues.
Folks always want to "see" the Spirit. Folks want some "evidence" they are "saved". They want supernatural activity to accompany their beliefs. Sorry, the Lord is not parading His Spirit around for all the world to ooooh and aaahhh at.
Since you are Watching Brethren Praise and Worship the Lord I will Teach about Worshipping Yahweh in the Power of His Spirit and in the Truth of His Living Word!
Zamar -Instrumental Worship;
Towdah- Lift up Hands to God and Thank Him;
Barak- To kneel and Bless God;
Yadah- To Lift Hands and acknowledge God in Public!
@sky, This is all true, but you, and others like you, wish to stretch the Biblical Truth. There is NO magical heavenly language. We don't 'look' for the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself in any physical way.
Pure nonsense, and demonic. I can see your featured video on your page claiming speaking in tongues is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit. And your profile comments preaching the same thing.
Get your mind out of this physical world, and stop looking for signs & wonders. Satan's specialty.
I agree with you. I was once in such a demonstration or service whatever you call it. I even fell over against my own will. I think a bad spirit was effecting me as I had been feeling really rotten that day, and then my mind went blank for a moment and I fell over. I don't attribute that to God. Also I didn't feel Gods spirit there in that place when these demonstrations were going on. I actually felt like what was going on was of satan, the spirit there was unpeaceful.
@Itsfaith33 I know 100% how you feel. I've been in a service where that happened. I had a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach and I kept saying over and over in my mind, "God, this is not you I'm feeling." It's scary how people can experience these counterfeit spirits and keep coming back.
Thank you Lord! This is so beautiful to see, and a perfect normal, and not mystical way at all of the Holy Spirit. People are being touched here in different ways...deep healing, restoration, joy, freedom, sooo very beauitful!
To call this cultish I´m sorry but you do not know the Holy Spirit to say such a thing!
this is pathetic. you have turned the Holy Spirit into something that is mystical. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of Christ, and all He does is reveal Christ. This is cultish, and is not described in Scripture.
I can tell you that Holy Spirit is not like this. This is not Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is of JOY & SELF-CONTROL, you can still stop yourself when you are filled with the Holy Spirit. Holy spirit will move you but will definitely not torture the believers and if the believers are so filled with Holy Spirit, once the preacher lay hand on the believers the Holy Spirit will listen right away and calm down.
I can assure that, though it may look like it, they are not being tortured. I have been in similar instances when God was touching and healing deep places in my heart and I responded similarly. And yes, this is covered numerous times in scripture. Sometimes it will appear as though drunk, sometimes with groanings too deep for words. Paul says I "travail" over you in the spirit. I'm sure you will not agree or listen, as I did at first...but there is something more that most Christians...
I want to point out something that Jesus told Nicodemus. Jesus told Nicodemus that he had to be born again of the water and of the Spirit in order to go to the kingdom of God. Notice what Jesus said in vs (8) The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: "so is every one that is born of the Spirit"
"The sound thereof" "So is every one that is born of the Spirit"
cont- God sent back the Spirit. Now remember...Jesus is the one who told them to go back to Jerusalem to wait for the Holy Ghost. "And suddenly there came a sound from heaven" They received it in (4) (Acts 2:1, 4) Now notice what Peter said about it during his preaching. Remember Peter is the one who told the mockers that these had received the Spirit which was prophesied by prophet Joel. Peter then said after they had been Spirit-filled that "He (God) hath shed forth this, which ye
cont- now see and hear (Acts 2:33) Hear again we see that a sound contributed to this born again process. The only thing that the mockers heard was them speaking in "other tongues" This lets us know that this is what Jesus was referring to. Remember also that Jesus said that His believers shall speak w/ new tongues.
God causes this utterance. One just have to ask God to show him/her....Lord what shall I do..just like when Peter was preaching (Acts 2:37-38)
who tells these peolpe they are worshipping God this way. No where in the Bible will you find this. Tongues in the Bilbe were languages spoken by peolpe and tongues were to edify and how can what these do edify or have anything to do with God
This is false. Speaking in tongues is the only way the 120 that were in the upper room know they had received the Spirit of God. (Acts 1:13-15; 2:1-4)
Speaking in tongues was a sign for Jews that the Gentiles are saved too (1Co 14:2.22; Eph 3:3-6) and it was a spiritual gift for relevation in the early church (1Co 13:8-10).
So the speaking in tongues were stilled (1Co 13:8) when the complete revelation came (1Co 13.10): all the 66 books of the Bible (Ps 119:160; Col 1,25; Rev 22,18.19).
Hello...speaking in tongues was/is the sign even today that one has received the Spirit. It was not only for the early church...but for us also. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and to day and for ever. (Hebrews 13:8)
Speaking in tongues has not stilled...Paul was making a point that love was the greatest gift. We know knowledge has not ceased. Then we what Paul said after he said it would cease...that it was for a sign (1 Cor 14:22) Then he even quoted what Isaiah said (1 Cor 14:21)
Con't- The bible say heaven and earth will pass away but my words shall not. The point on this scripture is that His word shall never pass away. Not that heaven and earth have already passed away.
Paul was giving the regulation of speaking in gift of tongues...which is different from "other tongues" that one receives when he/she received the Spirit. (Acts 2:4) God is still pouring out His Spirit the same way. There is no new covenant for us than it was for them.
Not all speak in tongues (1Co 12:30), so it's not a sign of receiving the Holy Spirit (maybe the sign of another spirit: 2Co 11:4; 2Thess 2:9; Rev 13:13; Mt 24:24)!
Prophetics, tongues and knowledge was gifts for revelation in part; the Bible is the whole and completed revelation (1Co 13:9.10).
The Greek word for knowledge in 1Co 13:8 is gnosis (= facts), do not mix it with epignosis (= realization) like used in Hebr 10:26 or Eph 1:17.
The situation in Acts 2:4 is like Acts 8, 10 or 19 a rebirth with signs for the Jews.
Today everybody who hear the the message of the gospel and believe, gets the Holy Spirit: Eph 1:13; 1Co 12:13 and others. The signs of receiving the Spirit are the fruits of the Holy Spirit (Gal 5:22.23) and leaving the sin.
You will not find that anywhere in the bible where anybody that believes get the Spirit. The person (Paul) who wrote all of these books you are references to... preached to others as he received it. He told the peoples in (Acts 19:2) Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? These peoples was already saved under John's baptism. But we see they needed more..and they received it.
God is a just God and He will give anyone the Holy Ghost just like He did them. Seek and ye shall find.
As a matter of fact Jesus said what believers shall do. He said they shall speak with new tongues (Mark 16:17) One day I did not wanna hear this tongues subject either...but God will fill us when we seek for it. Hunger and Thirst and He will fill us (Matt 5:6) We have to have an open mind and ask God...what do I need to do in order to make it back with you.
The book of Cor was written to peoples that already had the Holy Ghost. (1 Cor 1:2) The person (Paul) who wrote this book received the Holy Ghost just like on the day of Pentecost. What you are referring to in (1 Cor 12) is the gift of tongues. Has nothing to do with "other tongues" that one receives when He received the Spirit. One does not need to look for salvation in the book of Cor. The church started in the book of Acts.
I know John's baptism is out of date. But most peoples are still being saved that way. Only repentance and remission of sins. My point to you is...what do you mean receiving the Spirit a second time. How did the apostles knew they had received the Spirit? This question has to be answered by scripture. One opinion does not mean anything. They did not receive it twice.
They sure are. If one has not received it like the apostles and the rest that received it...and they are living a saved/devout christian life...they are still under John's baptism.
I totally agree that one has to be born again...but most do not understand how to be born again the bible way.
You are missing my point. Everything you are quoting I already know. My point is John came preaching repentance and remission of sins. He said that Jesus was going to give the Holy Ghost. If we haven't received the Holy Ghost ....we are still under John's baptism.
Matt 3:11 shows that there is a baptism that came after John's baptism, and this is the one since the day of Pentecost (Acts 2).
Conversion, rebirth, receiving the Holy Spirit, being baptised into one body - it is all the same procedure. There is no conversion in the beginning and later you ask the Father for receiving the Spirit (Lk 11:13). Rom 8:9 shows that you cannot be reborn without receiving the Spirit.
I recommend the book "The Corinthian Catastrophe" by George E. Gardiner.
I totally agree that one cannot be born again with the Spirit. Do you believe that we got to be born again like the chosen apostles...or do you believe that there is a different covenant for us in this day and age?
But in the time of Acts 2 it happend with the sign for the unbelieving Jews (1Co 14:22; 1Co 1:22) who did not believe in Gentiles can be saved. This sign shows Israel that the judgment of Isaiah 28:13 had come.
Today this sign is not necessary, because Israel has been rejected the Temple has been destroyed.
Israel was evangelize by signs and wonders (Matt 10:5-8; 1Co 1:22), the Gentiles and nations are evangelize by preaching the words of God (Matt 28:19-20; Rom 10:17; 2Tim 4:2 etc.).
You have to differentiate between Israel and the church: 2Tim 2:15. Also between the day of the apostles and the last days of this world: Hebr 2:3-4; 2Co 12:12)
Israel has always been God chosen peoples....but God see no different in a Jew or a Gentile as long as you have His Spirit. Peter vision lets us know this in Acts 10:1-48) If a Jew is not Spirit filled...they are none of His like His words says (Rom 8:9)
Anybody that want to be saved...they have to do what Jesus told us to do. He gave Peter the keys to the kingdom of Heaven...and Peter gave us the way to be born again. (Acts 2:38) Its no such thing as different salvation for different peoples. One Lord, One Faith One Baptism. (Eph 4:5)
That is what Peter thought till God gave him a vision in (Acts CH 10) We see Cornelius was saved just like they were @ the beginning.
This is totally not true. The sign was that God sent back His Spirit...like Peter declared. It had nothing to do with the unbelieving Jews. It was/is a sign to Jews and Gentiles. This had been prophesied for years. I agree it is for the unbelieving ...but it has nothing to do with Jews. The Gentiles was poured out the same Holy Ghost as the Jews..and they done the same thing. (Acts 10:1-48)
He did not send BACK the Spirit, because the Spirit had not been given before (John 7:39). Until this it was not the Spirit of sonship or do you act like in Judges 15:14-15 when the Spirit comes upon you?
It is a sign for the unbelieving Jews (1Co 14:22) because of the Isaiah 28:11. If it was ment for all unbelieving people, want sence has the next verse in 1Co 14:23. This would be contradictory.
It was a sign for believers in general...not just unbelieving Jews/Gentiles. Nothing contradictory about it. You have to rightly divide it. The book of Cor was written to peoples that was already Spirit-filled. One would not want to look at it for salvation.
God sent His Spirit back in the book of Acts. Whatever transpired when His chosen disciples was filled...we are to receive it the same way. Nothing has ceased....or changed. We just have to rightly divide it.
con't- Jesus had to be glorified...meaning He had to die and rise again...and then go to Heaven to sit on the right hand of God...before He sent back His Spirit (John 7:37-39) That is why Jesus last words in the book of Acts was that ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost come upon you. (Acts 1:8) He was lettin us know that we had to have the Holy Ghost in order to be a witness. That is why He said for them to wait for the promise because it had not been given (Acts 1:4-9)
No...actually its not up for private interpretation. Actually...I did not believe in speaking in tongues for one to be born again 12 yrs ago. I hated when it came up in church. But let me tell you something...God filled me with the Holy Ghost on March 7th 2005 after I Godly sorrow repented of my sins...and I spoke in "other tongues" as the Spirit gave utterance. You have to be hungry for God...and open minded when it comes to the word of God.
cont- Jesus said His believers shall speak with new tongues. (Mark 16:17) We see what transpired when Jesus told them to go back to Jerusalem and wait for the promise.(Luke 24:49) The only way they knew they had been endured with power from on is that this that they spoke in "other tongues" This was the only sign given to them.
Paul was governing the use of the gift of tongues. That is why Paul said "forbid not to speak with tongues" (1 Cor 14:39) "Decent and in order (1 Cor 14:40)
By the way speaking in tongues is also practised in Islam, Hindusim, Shamanism, Buddhism, Spiritualism and Pagan religions, where the Holy Spirit does not act obviously.
I testify to you, that I got to know the whole fulness of God when I stopped believing this unbiblical theory and I repented of it.
Going beyond what is written is a kind of unbelieving in God's strength given us by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
I am not referring to this Shamanism and etc. I am talking about the apostles doctrines..the one who was hand- picked by Jesus Christ and preached what they experienced.
In order to prove a point...when you see something in the word that said that believers "shall do something"...by Jesus I might add...you have to disprove it. You cannot disprove what Jesus said His believers "shall do" And this was prophesied before Jesus even came on the scene. Isaiah prophesied this also (Isaiah 28:11)
Its funny that you refer to this verse because the person wrote this (Paul) got filled with the Holy Ghost just as I did. (Acts 13:9, 22:16) (1 Cor 14:18) Then Paul even preached to some peoples who were living a saved life under John's baptism... and had not received the Holy Ghost until Paul preached to them about receiving the Holy Ghost. And we see they received the Holy Ghost...they spoke in tongues...and prophesied. (Acts 19:2-7)
With that being said...Paul said them or any angel
con't- from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. (Galatians 1:8-9) So..I have showed you what Paul preached. You are using verses Paul wrote...and this disprove what you are saying...because what I experienced is what Paul received...and preached.
Okay, when you rely on the verses Jesus said, you also have to check whether He said this to the apostles or to all people who believe in hin or to all people in general. Marc 16:17 is said to the apostles like the context showes: Marc 16:15.20 (He said this to THEM).
I wrote many arguments to you the bible teaches, test it and believe it or not (1Thess 5:21). He who has ears, let him hear (Mt 13:9).
I know this other theory of the Holy Ghost is more pleasant (2Co 11:4). But do you really think that 1,800 there was a wrong doctrine and now in the last days finally there is the right doctrine a little while before Jesus' coming?.
The Holy Ghost is not a theory. If one does not have the Spirit of God...Paul said he is none of His (Romans 8:9)
Where does it say 1,800 peoples were there..not that it really matters? And another thing...if you are referring to the book of Cor...the book of Cor is written to an already saved and sanctified and Spirit-filled church. I keep trying to tell you that Paul wrote this to believers...not sinners. (1 Cor 1:2) And it doesn't matter if it was 1.8 trillion..if one has not been
I refer my statement to the false interpretation of the Holy Spirit.
I encourage you to turn away from occult doctrines like this speaking in tongues nowadays or like in this video clip to the wonderful revelation of the biblical Holy Spirit.
The Corinthians were a church who received the Holy Spirit (1Co 1:2.7), that means they had a rebirth (1Co 12:13), but they did not live filled by the Holy Spirit (1Co 3:1).
I encourage you to ask the Lord to give to you what you need in order to go to heaven. I am not a part of any occult...I am a Jesus name believer...cause that's what the bible teaches. Every main-core point I have made...I have gave scripture for it.
You interpretation of false interpretation of the Spirit is proven in the bible on what transpired on the day of Pentecost...but you keep reading into it. Ask God to show you what the truth is...He will do it. Hunger and Thirst. We have
cont- to pray for a mind so God can open our understanding of this. When we really get serious about our souls...we will seek out of that is right. We cannot have a block mind and think we are right on everything. Paul said "Prove all things" (1 Thessalonians (5:21) If I am wanting to live right and someone is showing me that there is something better out there that God wants me to have....its time to search this thing out.
There is a such thing as living a saved/devout christian life
cont- and not have the Spirit of God. Two examples is in the word of God for our two witnesses. Cornelius in (Acts 10:1-48) Apollos in (Acts 18:24-28, 19:1-7) These two men are in the bible for a record for our view. Cornelius name is even mentioned as a memorial for us.
We see these peoples were living a saved life...but they did not get the Holy Ghost the bible way until Peter and Paul showed them the entire truth to it. I confess...that I thought I was born again one day..
cont- and I had not went all the way with it. O.. I had Godly sorrow repented of my sins in 97"...but I didn't have that keeping power that the Holy Ghost gives. But thank God I received it in 2005 when I hungered and thirsted after it. God will lead us into all truth...when we ask and hunger and thirst. What will it hurt us to ask the Lord if it is more...then give it to me. If this so-called Holy Ghost as the apostles and the rest received it is real..then give it to me. The peoples
cont- said we have not so much as whether heard there be any Holy Ghost that Paul ministered to...but we see they believed..but it wasn't enough...they were saved..but it wasn't enough...but thank God...the peoples did not block their minds to receiving the truth. We see they were filled with the Holy Ghost. This Apollos guy was even teaching others w/o the Spirit. We see Apollos needed a more perfect way.
All what important is...how are we to be saved/Spirit-filled. The apostles gave us the message for Jesus...God in the Flesh. We have to look to see how they were saved. The same way they were saved...the same way we are to be. The apostles taught 1.Repentance 2.Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. 3.Receiving the Holy Ghost as Jesus said we would.
Jesus whole point of selecting the hand-picked apostles was to spread the gospel to the nations. (Matt 28:19) Now...here is a point that can be made on where Jesus gave His apostles a command to them...and not go and repeat what He said.
"He that believeth"...this is not address to only the apostles. Their whole mission was to tell the world what Jesus said.
Yes, these signs will accompany the apostles who believe. Because it is said to THEM: "He said to them" (V.15), "and the Lord worked with them" (V.20). This is a section (V.15 - 20) that is spoken to the apostles, the context shows.
Matt 24:39 tells: "the flood came and took them all away". But we know that Noah and the seven survived. So you cannot torn out of context the word "all". You always have to have a look to the context.
I would agree if you say, this God's promises are for us in a heavenly meaning (Eph 1:3). So you say, driving out demons means being able to bring other people to conversion, new tongues means the difference of our speech in contrast to our speech before our conversion, picking up snakes means our authority over sins, drinking poison and not be hurt is the false doctrine, blasphemy and godlessness in this world.
But the physically signs were Jesus' and the apostle's ones: Hebr 2:3-4.
God Holy Ghost is for heavenly meaning. If we don't have it...according to His word....we will not see it. Picking up snakes? Hold up...I don't believe in picking up snakes. The whole point to this verse is to let us know if we come up on any deadly harm without the intent of doing so...it will not harm us. No...we shouldn't tempt the Lord to see if He heals us...if we go and pick up a rattle snake for the fun of it.
The word apostles is not in there. "All" means "All" until you show me a scripture that says otherwise. Like I said...Jesus selected His apostles so they could preach to the entire world. There was no distinction between the way the apostles was Spirit-filled and us today. Jesus even gave them power to heal all manner of sickness before they had the Holy Ghost..but they still had to get the Holy Ghost. (Matt 10:1)
Do a reference and you see the very person who wrote the book of Galatians had the Holy Ghost. Paul said he thanked God he speaks in tongues more than them all (1 Corinthians 14:18)
If people want more of the Holy Spirit they ought to spend more time in the Word of the Living God, instead of screaming and convulsing and chanting "Fire Fire Fire".
Please show me where it is written in the Bible that people are supposed to cry and yell and convulse and chant "fire fire fire".
I never heard of Jesus Christ doing such a thing ... but He cast demons out of the ones who were doing the convulsing.
I really liked your video and your channel. If you need any help getting this video or channel exposed I use a site called tubeviews.(net) It has really helped like 20 of my main videos get to the top in position. God Bless!
weird, protestants accept the bible but not the church founded by Christ. even tho for the first 400 years of christian history there was no "bible". and it wasnt till the time of luther that there was even means to mass produce them.
So after posting this message, I watched the video again.. I discovered there's a new form of expression that you have to allow to take it's course made up of both crying and laughing.. and I can't stop laughing!! I didn't know GOD used this as a form of communication until recently.. It's good to know I'm not the only one going through it. Seriously, people who don't understand will immediately label you as insane.. REMEMBER THIS: YOU ARE A SPIRIT THAT LIVES IN A CAGE OF FLESH AND BONE
Then it would start all over again until I'm out of breath.. and GOD just kept on winding up.. I think the Holy Spirit enters us through a mixture of tears and laughter.. Honestly.. this video proves what I've said before thousands of times.. In this day and age.. If there is any Holy Spirit going on in your church? It is not a place for kids.. So my question is.. WHERE IS YOUR CHURCH???
I posted a first message that didn't come on.. I went into deep prayer the other day and all of a sudden I began crying. the crying turned into hysterical laughter that would continue until way after I couldn't go on anymore making all my abdominal muscles really tense.. it wasn't me grieving about anything in particular or me laughing hysterically about anything other than victory in Christ. It was like GOD was entering me. This has happened many times before, but last time was so much stronger
The Holy Spirit is called, by Jesus, "The Spirit of Truth".
Do you think what these people are doing is unique to Christianity? No, it is not. Many mystical religions and cults (predating Christianity) have been responsible for similar acts.
This is not the Holy Spirit, sorry. The Holy Spirit is concerned with Truth and communicating that Truth. There are gifts, but rolling on the ground like a drunk monkey is not one of them, sorry.
This is wretched. They are acting drunk and accomplishing nothing. There is no time to flail on the ground like drunken morons. That is not the Holy Spirit, that is a demonic spirit.
God is not about pleasure. Think about the lives the apostles lived, were they always happy and running around like drunk idiots? No. Was Paul having a good time when he was stoned to near death? No.
The Holy Spirit is the "Spirit of Truth" according TO JESUS HIMSELF. What are these people doing that even halfway resembles truth? nothing. Speaking in tongues means speaking in a language you do not know, like if i were to speak Spanish right now.
Thanks, yours as well. It is a shame that my Lord and the gifts he gave to this planet have been thoroughly raped by upright apes with a language.
States of euphoria totally miss the point of real Christianity. I have been to a few churches where this kind of thing happens and every time I see it I never return. It's an abomination. The Holy Spirit CAN make you feel euphoric and to act "semi" drunk, but for a different purpose.
Speaking in tongues means you are speaking mysteries to God, and it's a beautiful thing. The Bible talks about it being a sign to fellow believers, so rejoice!
Everything about this statement is wrong. "The Mysteries" from the context is saying only God knows what your saying because it's not understood by man. It's like when we say, "Only God knows." It's a sign for unbelievers in Acts and Corinthians.
I was baptized in the Holy spirit when they prayed for me at church, 6 months after i started to speak in tongues. So if you want God to give you the gift of speaking in tongues, Ask Him, Pray. He will never disappoint you.
Just like when the apostles were strung up, tortured and killed? Were they happy? CLEARLY he just wanted them to be happy. Like when Paul was stoned to near death?
YES! ALL GOD WANTS US TO BE IS HAPPY AND ACTING LIKE FOOLISH DRUNKS!
That doesn't look like the joy of anything to me. They look like they're miserable and in pain with a few fits and convulsions threw in. Some of it actually looks like symptoms of manic depression. One minute laughing uncontrollably, the next minute crying uncontrollably. It looks like an Acid party gone wrong.
One day a friend of mine when to pray for one of the saints. She was ill and didn't make it to church service. We lay hands on her and the spirit of the living God came into that house.I began to speak in unknown tongues. After that the laughter came very strong. This dimension in God is so awesome.Sean Spearman(sacred steeler) from Detroit!!
the god kingdom is for the people with pure heart, like of child. HOLY SPIRIT sets you free from this world, makes u universal. this is the divine gift of god. so u remain away from the tricks and test of satan.
Flase prohpets is also a dread truth. But when you are filled with blessing of god almighty, he enables us to distinguish the two, as u grow mature and filled with holy spirit.
It makes me sad to see Christians undergo such emotional experiences thinking it is of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Himself warns us to beware of false prophets and those who teach demonic doctrines. Do you all really think Satan is so stupid nowadays that you can spot him a mile away? No, he works in deceptive ways and has many devices. I pray that those who read this will come to their senses and that God will speak to them and give them spiritual discernment to be able to test what is of Jesus.
Just curious - how many of you believe in demons? How many of you acknowledge the fact that we are under constant spiritual warfare? Those of you who freely give in to these types of "experiences," have you ever thought that perhaps it is not of Jesus Christ but of demonic powers? I ask you this - have you been putting on the FULL armor of God as in Ephesians 6.12, and tested all things with prayer and scripture and obedience to the Holy Spirit?
Negli ultimi tempi verranno falsi cristi e falsi profeti, con segni e miracoli.. e diranno: "Il Cristo eccolo qua, eccolo la.." Gesù in Matteo cap.24 dice: "NON GLI CREDETE!". Questi qui sono dei malati mentali, psicotici e posseduti. Oggi molti cristiani sono divenuti ciechi e non sanno più distinguere lo Spirito Santo dallo spirito di Satana. E' veramente grave!!
To all the christians that believe that carnality is justified by acts 2:13-17....
given that arguement I should get pissed, have sex with someone I don't know, get more drunk, have a fight, throw up on my shoes lose my keys and eat a kebab before passing out shortly before I get to my front door and thats an annointing of God, I mean thats what I used to do before i was saved and got drunk...honestly what an unbiblical misuse of the scriptures - I really feel sorry for you.
We should be critical of anything Benny Hinn says as he claims that he gets a refreshing of the spirit by rolling around on top of Katherine Khulman's grave. Even if Benny read the bible on air, since he is an apostate preacher, i would not trust what he read. One word of knowledge that was given to me in 2003is that God would remove the famous national preachers (apostates )before HE sends down a light beam to point to the exact places where he wants new churches to be birthed.
thats dumb why wouldnt God remove specific types of people. It would be people with corrupt hearts. so its actually your flesh categorizing famous preachers as evil.
At to confusion and the "decently and order" idea -- they are all in agreement here that the order at this time is to let The Spirit move. It's not like one is doing one thing and one another. They are all praying that The Holy Spirit moves on each other. Perfectly in order, and they are not doing anything idecent. They want The Spirit to move!
Jesus said if you asked for a good gift, your Father would not give you a snake or stone....
Matthew 3:11b He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire
Luke 12:49 I have come to bring fire on the earth,
Matthew 12:32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
Deuteronomy 4:24: For the LORD your God is a consuming fire,
3 Thessalonians 6:7 -- "NOW WE COMMAND YOU, BRETHREN, IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, THAT YE WITHDRAW YOURSELVES FROM EVERY BROTHER THAT WALKETH DISORDERLY...(7) FOR YOURSELVES KNOW HOW YE OUGHT TO FOLLOW US: FOR WE BEHAVED NOT OURSELVES DISORDERLY AMONG YOU."
THE APOSTLES DID NOT BEHAVE DISORDERLY, SO WITHDRAW YOURSELVES FROM THOSE WHO DO. A DIRECT COMMAND!!!
JESUS IS COMING VERY, VERY SOON - BEWARE THESE FALSE TEACHERS!
when the apostles had received the Spirit in the book of Acts, they started speaking in tongues and people from all over were drawn in because the witnesses heard their native language. The witnesses thought the apostles were drunk....ask yourself this, if you started speaking another language would people think you were drunk? nope. there has to be more actions involved than just speaking another language for groups of people to believe you are intoxicated. Read it for yourself...Acts 2:13-15
wasn't the context of that verse that Jeremiah was distressed over what God had revealed to him about the wickedness of Israel and the false prophets that held sway over it?
Psa 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Our mind is the protection instance of our heart! watch this!

Very Good Questions!
Why did the Priests in 2 Chron 5 not be able to stand when the Presence of the Lord entered the Temple?
skydiver777 1 year ago
@sky, In John 18, the guards falling to the ground, was the equalivant to God calling down fire from Heaven. Just as Elijah called down fire from Heaven, and destroyed the 450 False Prophets of Baal.
The Lord was showing that the guards had NO power to seize the Lord, but that is was the Lord's intention to surrender to them, to fulfill His mission. The Lord could have easily destroyed the guards.
The Bible tells us signs & wonders is demonic. Someone of your training should know better.
WitnessoftheTruth 1 year ago
Talking in tongues, and falling over backwards, etc, are acts of satan, NOT the Lord, Jesus Christ. Once the Bible was completed in about 95 AD, there was no such utterence from the Spirit by way of visions, dreams, or tongues.
Folks always want to "see" the Spirit. Folks want some "evidence" they are "saved". They want supernatural activity to accompany their beliefs. Sorry, the Lord is not parading His Spirit around for all the world to ooooh and aaahhh at.
We pray, we wait.

I actually felt like what was going on was of satan, the spirit there was unpeaceful.

this is pathetic. you have turned the Holy Spirit into something that is mystical.

SoftWhitePlume 2 years ago

Now lets see what transpired when

cont- God sent back the Spirit.

Tongues in the Bilbe were languages spoken by peolpe and tongues were to edify and how can what these do edify or have anything to do with God
vovkaau 2 years ago
This is false. Speaking in tongues is the only way the 120 that were in the upper room know they had received the Spirit of God. (Acts 1:13-15; 2:1-4)
cfinn100 2 years ago
Speaking in tongues was a sign for Jews that the Gentiles are saved too (1Co 14:2.22; Eph 3:3-6) and it was a spiritual gift for relevation in the early church (1Co 13:8-10).
So the speaking in tongues were stilled (1Co 13:8) when the complete revelation came (1Co 13.10): all the 66 books of the Bible (Ps 119:160; Col 1,25; Rev 22,18.19).
Greedings with 1Jo 4:1 and Mk 4:23!
lesv84 2 years ago
Hello...speaking in tongues was/is the sign even today that one has received the Spirit. It was not only for the early church...but for us also. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and to day and for ever. (Hebrews 13:8)
Speaking in tongues has not stilled...Paul was making a point that love was the greatest gift. We know knowledge has not ceased. Then we what Paul said after he said it would cease...that it was for a sign (1 Cor 14:22) Then he even quoted what Isaiah said (1 Cor 14:21)
cfinn100 2 years ago
Con't- The bible say heaven and earth will pass away but my words shall not. The point on this scripture is that His word shall never pass away. Not that heaven and earth have already passed away.
Paul was giving the regulation of speaking in gift of tongues...which is different from "other tongues" that one receives when he/she received the Spirit. (Acts 2:4) God is still pouring out His Spirit the same way. There is no new covenant for us than it was for them.
cfinn100 2 years ago
Unfortunately both translated by "knowledge".
lesv84 2 years ago
The situation in Acts 2:4 is like Acts 8, 10 or 19 a rebirth with signs for the Jews.
Today everybody who hear the the message of the gospel and believe, gets the Holy Spirit: Eph 1:13; 1Co 12:13 and others. The signs of receiving the Spirit are the fruits of the Holy Spirit (Gal 5:22.23) and leaving the sin.
lesv84 2 years ago
You will not find that anywhere in the bible where anybody that believes get the Spirit. The person (Paul) who wrote all of these books you are references to... preached to others as he received it. He told the peoples in (Acts 19:2) Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? These peoples was already saved under John's baptism. But we see they needed more..and they received it.
God is a just God and He will give anyone the Holy Ghost just like He did them. Seek and ye shall find.
cfinn100 2 years ago
As a matter of fact Jesus said what believers shall do. He said they shall speak with new tongues (Mark 16:17) One day I did not wanna hear this tongues subject either...but God will fill us when we seek for it. Hunger and Thirst and He will fill us (Matt 5:6) We have to have an open mind and ask God...what do I need to do in order to make it back with you.
cfinn100 2 years ago
The book of Cor was written to peoples that already had the Holy Ghost. (1 Cor 1:2) The person (Paul) who wrote this book received the Holy Ghost just like on the day of Pentecost. What you are referring to in (1 Cor 12) is the gift of tongues. Has nothing to do with "other tongues" that one receives when He received the Spirit. One does not need to look for salvation in the book of Cor. The church started in the book of Acts.
cfinn100 2 years ago
Mark 16:17 is said to the eleven apostles, you can see it in the verses before and after.
Of course God wants all people to be saved (Hes 18:23; 2Pt 3:9). And so everyone should receive the Holy Spirit (Rom 8:9).
Nevertheless speaking in tongues or receiving the Spirit a second time after rebirth is not a facts the bible teaches.
Worshipping in this way the video showes is not taught in the Bible anywhere.
And sorry, nobody can be saved by John's baptism: Joh 14:6.
lesv84 2 years ago
I know John's baptism is out of date. But most peoples are still being saved that way. Only repentance and remission of sins. My point to you is...what do you mean receiving the Spirit a second time. How did the apostles knew they had received the Spirit? This question has to be answered by scripture. One opinion does not mean anything. They did not receive it twice.
cfinn100 2 years ago
Most peoples are still being saved by John's baptism? Where is this written in the Bible? Is this the apostle's teaching?
Nobody can be saved by repentance and remission of sins! The one and only way is rebirth (John 3:3; 14:6).
See 1Co 4:6...
lesv84 2 years ago
They sure are. If one has not received it like the apostles and the rest that received it...and they are living a saved/devout christian life...they are still under John's baptism.
I totally agree that one has to be born again...but most do not understand how to be born again the bible way.
cfinn100 2 years ago
Do you mean the baptism with water?
- So, John is dead. Nobody can be baptised by him. And it was another baptism: Acts 19:3.5.
- The baptism in water is for symbolic testimony (1Pt 3:21).
If it was not so, nobody could be saved by conversion on his deathbed (Acts 16:31) and the baptism would be a deed (Rom 3:28).
lesv84 2 years ago
You are missing my point. Everything you are quoting I already know. My point is John came preaching repentance and remission of sins. He said that Jesus was going to give the Holy Ghost. If we haven't received the Holy Ghost ....we are still under John's baptism.
cfinn100 2 years ago
Matt 3:11 shows that there is a baptism that came after John's baptism, and this is the one since the day of Pentecost (Acts 2).
Conversion, rebirth, receiving the Holy Spirit, being baptised into one body - it is all the same procedure. There is no conversion in the beginning and later you ask the Father for receiving the Spirit (Lk 11:13). Rom 8:9 shows that you cannot be reborn without receiving the Spirit.
I recommend the book "The Corinthian Catastrophe" by George E. Gardiner.
lesv84 2 years ago
I totally agree that one cannot be born again with the Spirit. Do you believe that we got to be born again like the chosen apostles...or do you believe that there is a different covenant for us in this day and age?
cfinn100 2 years ago
It is the same rebirth today like in this age.
But in the time of Acts 2 it happend with the sign for the unbelieving Jews (1Co 14:22; 1Co 1:22) who did not believe in Gentiles can be saved. This sign shows Israel that the judgment of Isaiah 28:13 had come.
Today this sign is not necessary, because Israel has been rejected the Temple has been destroyed.
lesv84 2 years ago
Israel was evangelize by signs and wonders (Matt 10:5-8; 1Co 1:22), the Gentiles and nations are evangelize by preaching the words of God (Matt 28:19-20; Rom 10:17; 2Tim 4:2 etc.).
You have to differentiate between Israel and the church: 2Tim 2:15. Also between the day of the apostles and the last days of this world: Hebr 2:3-4; 2Co 12:12)
lesv84 2 years ago
Israel has always been God chosen peoples....but God see no different in a Jew or a Gentile as long as you have His Spirit. Peter vision lets us know this in Acts 10:1-48) If a Jew is not Spirit filled...they are none of His like His words says (Rom 8:9)
cfinn100 2 years ago
Israel is receted (Acts 13:46) until the full number of the Gentiles has come to Jesus (Rom 11:25).
When a Jew want to be saved nowadays, he have to believe in the Lord Jesus (Marc 16:16; Acts 16:31; Rom 8:9).
This is the mystery (Eph 3:3-6), the tongues testifies (1Co 14:2).
Another interpretation goes beyond what is written (1Co 4:6).
lesv84 2 years ago
Anybody that want to be saved...they have to do what Jesus told us to do. He gave Peter the keys to the kingdom of Heaven...and Peter gave us the way to be born again. (Acts 2:38) Its no such thing as different salvation for different peoples. One Lord, One Faith One Baptism. (Eph 4:5)
That is what Peter thought till God gave him a vision in (Acts CH 10) We see Cornelius was saved just like they were @ the beginning.
cfinn100 2 years ago
This is totally not true. The sign was that God sent back His Spirit...like Peter declared. It had nothing to do with the unbelieving Jews. It was/is a sign to Jews and Gentiles. This had been prophesied for years. I agree it is for the unbelieving ...but it has nothing to do with Jews. The Gentiles was poured out the same Holy Ghost as the Jews..and they done the same thing. (Acts 10:1-48)
cfinn100 2 years ago
He did not send BACK the Spirit, because the Spirit had not been given before (John 7:39). Until this it was not the Spirit of sonship or do you act like in Judges 15:14-15 when the Spirit comes upon you?
It is a sign for the unbelieving Jews (1Co 14:22) because of the Isaiah 28:11. If it was ment for all unbelieving people, want sence has the next verse in 1Co 14:23. This would be contradictory.
lesv84 2 years ago
It was a sign for believers in general...not just unbelieving Jews/Gentiles. Nothing contradictory about it. You have to rightly divide it. The book of Cor was written to peoples that was already Spirit-filled. One would not want to look at it for salvation.
God sent His Spirit back in the book of Acts. Whatever transpired when His chosen disciples was filled...we are to receive it the same way. Nothing has ceased....or changed. We just have to rightly divide it.
cfinn100 2 years ago
con't- Jesus had to be glorified...meaning He had to die and rise again...and then go to Heaven to sit on the right hand of God...before He sent back His Spirit (John 7:37-39) That is why Jesus last words in the book of Acts was that ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost come upon you. (Acts 1:8) He was lettin us know that we had to have the Holy Ghost in order to be a witness. That is why He said for them to wait for the promise because it had not been given (Acts 1:4-9)
cfinn100 2 years ago
Rigth. I agree.
lesv84 2 years ago
A Sign for believers in general? Where is this written? What about 1Co 14:23.
Maybe you interpretate too much and believe too little in what is written.
lesv84 2 years ago
No...actually its not up for private interpretation. Actually...I did not believe in speaking in tongues for one to be born again 12 yrs ago. I hated when it came up in church. But let me tell you something...God filled me with the Holy Ghost on March 7th 2005 after I Godly sorrow repented of my sins...and I spoke in "other tongues" as the Spirit gave utterance. You have to be hungry for God...and open minded when it comes to the word of God.
cfinn100 2 years ago
cont- Jesus said His believers shall speak with new tongues.
That is why Paul said "forbid not to speak with tongues" (1 Cor 14:39) "Decent and in order (1 Cor 14:40)
cfinn100 2 years ago
Decent and in order? - Have a look at the video clip again!
You have been filled with a Spirit and speak in tongues in the year 2005, so I think it was a Spirit like written in 2Cor 11:4.
Sorry, but when you look at all biblical verses of speaking in tongues, you cannot say this is a sign of be filled with the Holy Spirit.
lesv84 2 years ago
By the way speaking in tongues is also practised in Islam, Hindusim, Shamanism, Buddhism, Spiritualism and Pagan religions, where the Holy Spirit does not act obviously.
I testify to you, that I got to know the whole fulness of God when I stopped believing this unbiblical theory and I repented of it.
Going beyond what is written is a kind of unbelieving in God's strength given us by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
lesv84 2 years ago
I am not referring to this Shamanism and etc. I am talking about the apostles doctrines..the one who was hand- picked by Jesus Christ and preached what they experienced.
In order to prove a point...when you see something in the word that said that believers "shall do something"...by Jesus I might add...you have to disprove it. You cannot disprove what Jesus said His believers "shall do" And this was prophesied before Jesus even came on the scene. Isaiah prophesied this also (Isaiah 28:11)
cfinn100 2 years ago
And this is very much biblical. I have shown several scriptures to prove it.
cfinn100 2 years ago

You are using verses Paul wrote...and this disprove what you are saying...because what I experienced is what Paul received...and preached.
cfinn100 2 years ago
Okay, when you rely on the verses Jesus said, you also have to check whether He said this to the apostles or to all people who believe in hin or to all people in general. Marc 16:17 is said to the apostles like the context showes: Marc 16:15.20 (He said this to THEM).
Have a look at the videos of 1nemind.

2Thess 2:3; Matt 24:24; 2Tim 4:3
Be blessed and kept by Jesus Christ!
lesv84 2 years ago
The Holy Ghost is not a theory. If one does not have the Spirit of God...Paul said he is none of His (Romans 8:9)
Where does it say 1,800 peoples were there..not that it really matters? And another thing...if you are referring to the book of Cor...the book of Cor is written to an already saved and sanctified and Spirit-filled church. I keep trying to tell you that Paul wrote this to believers...not sinners. (1 Cor 1:2) And it doesn't matter if it was 1.8 trillion..if one has not been

cfinn100 2 years ago
I did not say, the Holy Spirit is a theory.
I refer my statement to the false interpretation of the Holy Spirit.
I encourage you to turn away from occult doctrines like this speaking in tongues nowadays or like in this video clip to the wonderful revelation of the biblical Holy Spirit.
The Corinthians were a church who received the Holy Spirit (1Co 1:2.7), that means they had a rebirth (1Co 12:13), but they did not live filled by the Holy Spirit (1Co 3:1).
lesv84 2 years ago
I encourage you to ask the Lord to give to you what you need in order to go to heaven. I am not a part of any occult...I am a Jesus name believer...cause that's what the bible teaches. Every main-core point I have made...I have gave scripture for it.
You interpretation of false interpretation of the Spirit is proven in the bible on what transpired on the day of Pentecost...but you keep reading into it. Ask God to show you what the truth is...He will do it. Hunger and Thirst. We have

We cannot have a block mind and think we are right on everything. There is a such thing as living a saved/devout christian life

We see these peoples were living a saved life...but they did not get the Holy Ghost the bible way until Peter and Paul showed them the entire truth to it. I confess...that I thought I was born again one day..

We see they were filled with the Holy Ghost. This Apollos guy was even teaching others w/o the Spirit. We see Apollos needed a more perfect way.
cfinn100 2 years ago
All what important is...how are we to be saved/Spirit-filled. The apostles gave us the message for Jesus...God in the Flesh. We have to look to see how they were saved. The same way they were saved...the same way we are to be. The apostles taught 1.Repentance 2.Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. 3.Receiving the Holy Ghost as Jesus said we would.
cfinn100 2 years ago
Jesus whole point of selecting the hand-picked apostles was to spread the gospel to the nations. (Matt 28:19) Now...here is a point that can be made on where Jesus gave His apostles a command to them...and not go and repeat what He said.
"He that believeth"...this is not address to only the apostles. Their whole mission was to tell the world what Jesus said.
cfinn100 2 years ago
Yes, these signs will accompany the apostles who believe. Because it is said to THEM: "He said to them" (V.15), "and the Lord worked with them" (V.20). This is a section (V.15 - 20) that is spoken to the apostles, the context shows.
Matt 24:39 tells: "the flood came and took them all away". But we know that Noah and the seven survived. So you cannot torn out of context the word "all". You always have to have a look to the context.
lesv84 2 years ago
I would agree if you say, this God's promises are for us in a heavenly meaning (Eph 1:3). So you say, driving out demons means being able to bring other people to conversion, new tongues means the difference of our speech in contrast to our speech before our conversion, picking up snakes means our authority over sins, drinking poison and not be hurt is the false doctrine, blasphemy and godlessness in this world.
But the physically signs were Jesus' and the apostle's ones: Hebr 2:3-4.
lesv84 2 years ago
God Holy Ghost is for heavenly meaning. If we don't have it...according to His word....we will not see it. Picking up snakes? Hold up...I don't believe in picking up snakes. The whole point to this verse is to let us know if we come up on any deadly harm without the intent of doing so...it will not harm us. No...we shouldn't tempt the Lord to see if He heals us...if we go and pick up a rattle snake for the fun of it.

Why do charismatics understand verses literally or figuratively like need it for their false doctrine?
lesv84 2 years ago
Because it is literally...unless the bible says otherwise.
cfinn100 2 years ago
The word apostles is not in there. "All" means "All" until you show me a scripture that says otherwise. Like I said...Jesus selected His apostles so they could preach to the entire world. There was no distinction between the way the apostles was Spirit-filled and us today. Jesus even gave them power to heal all manner of sickness before they had the Holy Ghost..but they still had to get the Holy Ghost. (Matt 10:1)

DemitriousMercury 3 years ago
Then it would start all over again until I'm out of breath.. and GOD just kept on winding up.. I think the Holy Spirit enters us through a mixture of tears and laughter.. Honestly.. this video proves what I've said before thousands of times.. In this day and age.. If there is any Holy Spirit going on in your church? It is not a place for kids.. So my question is.. WHERE IS YOUR CHURCH???
DemitriousMercury 3 years ago
I posted a first message that didn't come on.. I went into deep prayer the other day and all of a sudden I began crying. the crying turned into hysterical laughter that would continue until way after I couldn't go on anymore making all my abdominal muscles really tense.. it wasn't me grieving about anything in particular or me laughing hysterically about anything other than victory in Christ. It was like GOD was entering me. This has happened many times before, but last time was so much stronger

jessmacaroni 3 years ago
This is now how the holy spirit works.
There are gifts, but rolling on the ground like a drunk monkey is not one of them, sorry.

we are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, our soul and our strength. Our emotions are part of our soul, even thought this might
make some uncomfortable. And yes, He is intoxicating, and we should find pleasure in Him, as well as have a holy awe of Him.
beaverkill54 3 years ago
God is not intoxicating, God is Truth.
God is not about pleasure. Think about the lives the apostles lived, were they always happy and running around like drunk idiots? No. Was Paul having a good time when he was stoned to near death? No.
The Holy Spirit is the "Spirit of Truth" according TO JESUS HIMSELF. What are these people doing that even halfway resembles truth? nothing. Speaking in tongues means speaking in a language you do not know, like if i were to speak Spanish right now.
littleredbirdy 3 years ago
Great comment :)
savedbyYeshua 3 years ago
Thanks, yours as well. It is a shame that my Lord and the gifts he gave to this planet have been thoroughly raped by upright apes with a language.
States of euphoria totally miss the point of real Christianity. I have been to a few churches where this kind of thing happens and every time I see it I never return. It's an abomination. The Holy Spirit CAN make you feel euphoric and to act "semi" drunk, but for a different purpose.
Pentecost looked NOTHING like this.
littleredbirdy 3 years ago
Speaking in tongues means you are speaking mysteries to God, and it's a beautiful thing. The Bible talks about it being a sign to fellow believers, so rejoice!
lexicongarfield 3 years ago
Everything about this statement is wrong. "The Mysteries" from the context is saying only God knows what your saying because it's not understood by man. It's like when we say, "Only God knows." It's a sign for unbelievers in Acts and Corinthians.

People at rock concerts, other religions and so forth experience ecstasy just as intense.

I pray that those who read this will come to their senses and that God will speak to them and give them spiritual discernment to be able to test what is of Jesus.
prevolition 3 years ago
