When you resize things or creat objects, how do you get it to stay in the center? Like when you start making a circle the middle of the circle is where you cursor is. When i do it i have to start at the top left and end at the bottom right, its really hard to get things centered. I dunno if your going to understand what i'm saying, its hard to explain. How do you get it to stay centered when you do that free transform at 2:10?
Yep! That looks awesome. Not exactly like the actual vista button if you compare them for like 1 hr like I did, but it is about 95% like the proper one. What a GREAT tutorial, probably the only one I have seen that looks this good comparing to the real thing.
Hi, This is excellent. Thank you. The only part I got lost on was toward the end. The step of: Click Paths tab --See path of "bean shape". Make selection. Select > Inverse. I am not clear what was actually done with the fill? Thank you so much! Nancy

It is sad that kids that think they are great artists have no understanding of light or shadow. This might look neat to someone who isn't a good artist.
I give you credit for one thing; to make a video in which the author actually zooms in so that the people can see what's happening. As for the subject; boring... there are thousands of tutorials like that...yawn.
Very nice

try to use "ALT" button for centered transformations
(and "shift" for constrain proportions)

What a birlliant tutorial - thanks :)
I have always wanted to know how to create buttons like this and images that look a little 'glassy'.
Thank you so much.
Some comments say this is boring, well it only is if you are not a graphic designer, web developer or software engineer lol.

wow. really cool tut. i have to agree about the light blue shade at the bottom. it would look 10x better if it was lighter.
