Fifty-eight year ago, China quickly invaded Tibet because the Tibetans didn't build a true army. So they lost, but they deserve the right to exist as a culture. Chinese don't give them this basic right, they say they do but they don't. The international community should respect first the people who don't spend all their money for buying weapons. These are 'a priori' peaceful people. Tibetans and Chinese are peaceful but not the Chinese 'clique' in power. Pelosi supports the pro peace people.

This is probably the LEAST effective criticism of the Iraq war that I have seen. There is plenty to criticize, but comparing to Tibet does not work. Also, are you implying that China's oppression of Tibet is acceptable?

You are still missing the point. If you want to criticize America's war in Iraq, there is ample evidence for you to use. HOWEVER, to compare Iraq to Tibet as a justification for China's brutality is ridiculous. One wrong does NOT justify another. And let's not even try to pretend that China's govt is not cruel. Read the Amnesty International report for an objective view.

To continue my rebuttal of your post, I would suggest that you GO to the Amnesty site before you look like an even bigger fool. They have LOTS of criticism for the USA and that includes GUANTANIMO. So, if you want to have an intelligent discussion, then I suggest you do some research rather than blindly arguing whose country is better/worse. That's just what a 5 year old child would do. (And don't assume I support Bush).

China does NOT have a real news organization. It has Xinhua, which will never be able to publish anything that the govt does not approve in this matter. Tibet was FREE and WILL BE free in the future. You CANNOT use history from thousands of years ago to claim a territory today. Fifty-eight year ago, China quickly invaded Tibet because the Tibetans didn't build a true army. So they lost, but they deserve the right to exist as a culture. Chinese don't give them this basic right, they say they do but they don't. The international community should respect first the people who don't spend all their money for buying weapons. These are 'a priori' peaceful people. Tibetans and Chinese are peaceful but not the Chinese 'clique' in power. Pelosi supports the pro peace people.

I must disagree with both the statement and the premise. We DESTROYED Iraq for no reason (it did not help our interests now was it the right thing to do post911). In the process how many innocent people have died? Even though things ARE better now, it's as much because of the political gains (truces among the internal Iraqi groups) as it is the surge.
