hey i've got a good question... you should answer it.. why does the philippines need an iphone 3gs??? you pay for the internet by webpage right???and what about the appstore??? do you have it there? and if so how much is the apps? thanks
Hi, Globe, one of our major mobile networks here is a partner of Apple in distributing/selling iPhone/3G/3Gs.
You can take advantage of iPhone 3Gs because of our massive 3G network coverage here. And to correct you, the cost is not per page, it's per 30 minutes. Typical price is 20 Philippine Peso per 30 minutes of 3G web surfing. The apps they can be bought online.
another great video by tech conclave!! (always and forever) FTW!! anyway congratz with the new mic!! sounds a lot better now than the previous episodes :D ( i thought the headset on your neck was a design... hihihihiihi) keep it up!! FTW!!
yeah im looking forward to getting a good mic with the podcasting kit im looking at getting and that was nice of brad to do that and its not a bad mic at all pretty cool and sounds great :D and us cheating say huh say wtf hahaha :)
i think we all would <3 one hehe and when they are on sale or cheaper i might get one if not.. ill stick to wat i have which im happy with and when i get me iphone 3.0 S ill be even happier haha and also wanna get windows 7 and look into getting more ram for both pcs/a video card for a dual screen for my two desktop pc monitors and a podcasting kit then ill be set!! :D
and to know there is alot of new OS's just makes me wanna get more and more :) btw im not sure when im gonna get my iphone hoping in the first week they are here in australia i will most likely be uploading alot of apps to it like my blackberry bold 9000 ill let ya know when i get it :D keep going at these videos matey ur doing great!! and i dont need a mac book pro i just want one hahaha :P
phones in general are getting more expensive to purchase they have so many more things on there such as apps/software but im looking forward to seeing this new IPHONE 3G S and how different it is to the latest one that was out not long ago here lol i wanna use it for mobile podcasting etc and would be good to have a macbook pro and that SNOW LEOPARD OS but im happy with wat ive got right now lol dont get me wrong i would so love a mac book pro but thats out of the question right now ..~cont..
Yeah! Well if you don't really need a Macbook Pro then you dont have to buy it. Windows works for everyone. And with the iPhone 3G S it's more like a practical thing to me considering it's mobile. It's indeed an excellent gadget to use for mobile podcasting! :)
its for surely good to be a geek!! :D thanks john for bringing us the latest updates and wat is soon to be coming out or is already~fantastic work loved it from start to finish great detail and all the tech correnspondents really gave the video alot to thanks guys looking forward to seeing and hearing more and im looking into getting the iphone 3G S and im not familar with `SNOW LEOPARD` the macbook pro's arent bad i wouldnt mind getting one but the iphone is first! keep up the great work :D
Wow, that's nice. You're lucky -- I wish I could afford it hehehe. I'd like to try it and do reviews on my show regarding iPhone apps. Snow Leopard is an operating system for Mac computers. Macbook Pros are good but they are quite "exy" in one way but people say it's worth it.
Hope you get your iPhone 3G S it looks nice and it will be out in Australia in the next few days! Enjoy and thanks for your comment. :-)
Yes you heard it right. Snow Leopard supports a theoretical 16 TB of RAM, 500 times more than what is possible today. Current hardware doesn't allow that yet but you know, it will come one day.
WOW that's insane. By the time hardware does support it the next Mac OS will be out though or the next 5 even. Most people don't even have terabyte hard drives yet let alone memory.
I agree. And it's not only Mac OS X 10.6 aka "Snow Leopard" -- 64-bit Windows are also capable of supporting that theoretical amount of memory. For now, it remains a theory. lol
Only 64-bit systems regardless of platforms. I'm running 32-bit so I'm stuck up to 3 GB only which is sad. Hehehe. But my hardware is 64-bit capable so I will need to install a 64-bit OS. Wish I had a Mac though, video editing would be a bliss. xD
Yeah I'd love a Mac too. Very sexy machines with a brilliant OS. They just cost a bomb even at their low end models. I'm stuck to Windows 7 RC and Ubuntu 9.04, both 32 bit.
So have 64 bit operating systems supported the potential 16 terabytes for some time now?
Any idea on the topics for next episode? great show by the way. It's edited very well. Television news show standards.
Thanks, TechTubeToday (lol, I'd like to call you by your name). Well, hopefully I'll shift to Windows 7 64-bit when it is released and when I can afford it. I'm really doing my best for Tech Conclave and the past days were deadly. lol You can check tech conclave website and the setup that I use/have. Well, I'll be working in 2 days for the next episode and I still have to look for ideas yet. I'm sure one of them is about WordCamp Dallas, probably Spotify, etc.. You can contribute.
My name is Shane. Lol. Spotify sounds like a great service but I haven't got to try it out because I'm not allowed in my country. Only the UK can use it now is it? I added myself to the waiting list and really hope they send me an invite.
I'd be intersted in contributing to a future episode of Tech Conclave but at the moment I'm finishing my Leaving Cert which are the most important exams in the Irish education system. I should be studying for my Physics exam tomorrow but I don't want to.Haha
Oh hehehe. That's okay. Well don't tell others but I am using Spotify service lol (even it's not allowed here in Philippines -- there's a workaround and bug that they don't know as of yet). xD Anyway, sponge to that, hehehe, I'm already done with schooling and I'd be bound for Masteral level if I have the money. But I want to go somewhere outside my country. Who knows my show might take me somewhere. One of TC's goal is for the tech correspondents to meet in 1 place, 1 event, one day... Hmm. :-)
That would be a cool meet. Wonder where it would be? Your show is very well produced and is bound to go big. The subscribers will just start multiplying once you hit the first few hundred and It could be something huge. I'll keep faving, rating and clicking thumbs up on StumbleUpon to help the show out. Keep up the good work.:-)
Thanks for that a lot! You're always welcome at Tech Conclave community -- you may want to register there. It'd be nice to have someone to represent the Irish community and I don't have friend from there. Are you like in the Ireland under UK (I meant North Ireland) or the other? lol Correct me if I'm wrong I don't know much about your place. xD The location is yet to be arranged -- that's a long shot but who knows! :) Everyone is doing his best.
No, I'm from Dublin in the Republic of Ireland. Completely separate to the UK. That's why I can't get Spotify. Hehe.
I'd love to represent my country on your show some time. I actually know a guy from the Philippines. He was in my Art class before school ended. He was very quiet though but a great artist. :-)
That's cool. Hehehe, he might be shy. Add me on Skype (just check on Tech Conclave website's contact page). I wish I could visit your place one day as it is rather warm here during the day everyday all year-round. Hehehe.
Well it rains here a lot and is cold alot too. Hehe but we have had some nice warm days here this summer:-) I'd love to see the Philippines and so many other countries. I'll add you on Skype when I re-install it. I never use it so I removed it.lol.
No, but If I had the money, I would make my own mac clone, but It would be around $1,400 for a quad core and 4gb of RAM. (for a tower only)
I wish Apple offered something that could start off mid ranged and could be later be upgraded and modernized to a hyper-threaded quad core. (a 512MB DX9/OpenGL2.0 card won't exactly be hot stuff in 5 years, but it's borderline mid range now)
I wish the same -- hehehe. I like Mac because its configuration is really good and futuristic. All I want is a good system that breaks the constraints of what I can do or what I want to do. I honestly believe I'm limited by my surrounded systems versus the ideas and time I need to spend on them to get a task done. Very time consuming especially when it comes to resource-intensive things like video editing & graphics. I've never been into PC gaming yet -- I wonder how nice to experience such.
im never gonna follow a band called "blister beatle" lol

shadowheart43 2 years ago

only if the hardware supports it. Same with any 64bit os
