Android 2.0.1 on the HTC Touch Diamond2

Hello I am trying to install android on my htc diamond 2, downloaded at XDA that is in your description the android, plus included 2 types 1 Bundle package FRX06 Final NEW, 2 System package - FRX06 Final NEW, the moment I'm with the first, draws on root of my card got the HTC Topaz startup.txt that is in the folder and run haret.exe, but the boot screen is still writing the following - Haret boot Shutting down hardware Turning off MMU MMV or in preloader PSR = 600000df - and not leave it. Help?

Now the Topaz has wifi, bluetooth, data, calls working, g-sensor working and also 3d. Only things not working is the speaker out of call, mic out of call, gps and camera. otherwise it's working fine. The batterylife will probably get better, it's about 1 day atm.

Android looks ugly. Even Windows Mobile 2003 is more interesting and user-friendly. Android without HTC Sence feels like windows 3.11

You guys should show Diamond mk1, where Android has been developped the most so far. There's wifi, phone usability, data, quite good battery life (1 day) and it's very stable. The latest build even has hardware 3D, but I have found it to break the general stability on my phone, so don't use it yet.

The latest update can use your data and phone plan now. Wifi and Bluetooth still doesn't work yet.

wifi shouldnt be hard. I bet you power savings doesnt work. Meaning it doesnt go into a full sleep. Battery would like 7 hours at most.

It's not emulated, it's running as the sole OS directly on the hardware. Haret is a bootloader....

its not an emulator. windows mobile is completely kicked out of ram. and using the latest files with android 1.6 has a data connection.

Great! I saw an emulated version running on the Samsung i780. Although it couldn't use the native square resolution, it DID work! ;)

I disagree. There will ALWAYS be many users who prefer WM over Android. It will certainly take over in the Market Share, but it will never "kill" it.
