King of Fighters XI: Fighters DreamCancel

I'm good at this game in general, and I've been playing KoF for almost 10 years now...But I can't seem to do a super cancel, let alone a dream cancel. Can somebody explain to me what I'm doing wrong? I can't even combo past 10.

This is such an awesome game, I had to go on e-Bay to order it (couldn't find it at any local retailer at all), but it was SO worth the 23.64 total I paid, I love the soundtrack to boot, it's one of the best I've heard in years in any KoF game.

This is a great video, but there is one other DC you left out, Vanessa's Crazy Puncher Finish. It's different from the one you showed, the Champion Puncher Finish, and it does a bit more damage. Still an awesome vid, though.

Nothing turns a 6 hit combo into a 798 hit combo quite like Oswald's LDM.

Yeah. Oswald's LDM does "only" 53 hits. In other KOFs, Li Xiangfei has a DM that does 101 hits, or 102 if used as an SDM. In KOF2k1 the SDM version occasionally does 2001 hits, and marginally more damage.

If you want to use a Dream Cancel you have to have 1 or 2 skill bar stocks. First do the command for a super move then insert the command for an LDM and you'll perform a Dream Cancel. If you do a super cancel (doing a special move then performing a super during the special) you'll take 1 skill stock. If you decide to do an LDM during the super, you'll use another skill stock. You Dream Cancel using 1 stock by not doing a super cancel.

DM's (Desperation Moves) are the basic super moves that everyone has. LDM's (Leader Desperation Moves) are the super moves that your team leader has, and takes 2 super bars instead of 1.
